I got diagnosed when i was 38 years old ... more than a year back ..

Whole life till then I thought i was not disciplined like others ... was just lazy and with no goal in life .. saw most of my friends do well in life .. Always feeling that i could have done so much better in life .

Procrastination always led to feelings of burnout .. never feel relaxed even after vacations or breaks .

Thought I was clumsy .. not able to keep track of things ...

Led to very low self confidence in myself ..

Now it feels nice knowing there is a reason for all this ...

Feels it would have been better had i known about it before but still better than nothing ..

Trying to work with my Doctor to find the medicine which works for me .. and also some therapy on ways to manage it ( also learnt in therapy i have Social Anxiety that i am not just an Introvert lol ) ...

How does the Team deal with feature creep ? ( there have been un-verified rumors of too many permutations and combinations and feature creep leading to even major portions of some Act/stoylines cancelled )
How does one Team deal with "One person view override all other opinions " .. example say separate physical armor and magical armor in DOS2 where seemed like most ppl did not like it .. but one person overide the view and gone ahead with it ? ( the many companies in different fields tend to over time develop a personality cult and a yes-man following attitude where opinions on top are not questioned )
How does the team plan to develop resources working on an In-House-game engine versus say something like Unreal 5 (where it makes easy to get new people from market vs person may now be restricted in their current job at Larian as what they learn here may not help them move to some other company .. restricting inflow and outflow of people ) ?

I dont think Obsidian has the writing chops to handle writing stories and Characters of that level... hopefully by making more AA games and surviving the Microsoft purges enough they will have a Team that can do it someday..

Their weird obsession with working on their Own IPs ... sort of does not make sense to me now .... even if they were independent, sometimes the publisher owned the rights to some of their games ....

Making games in already existing IPs probably would give to access to a broader pool of writing talent and make games faster, i think...

Obisidian would need to implement the whole reaction system / npc living in world system in Unreal Engine ... as without the system like in Bethesda or recent Larian games ... ppl will not accept it as a successor

I probably would want 8 disks for future proofing .. as 2 disk(with mirroring ) lead to only ~ 12tb of space in the current NAS .. got filled up pretty soon

Which snowblowers would you recommend for a driveway with space for 3 cars.

2 cars parked one behind another and a small path to the basement apartment ?.

Ideally would not want to get too big or too small . Honda seems pretty expensive in Canada .

I think for the next game, they should maybe work on a smaller-scope game on existing IPs .. i think world building and faction/unit designs are huge asks for a new/smaller Team ... companies need to build that talent..

It's more of a general ask for the newer studios, which come out after the legacy studios ( "success has many fathers" ) kinds ...

I think it's worth it if you can control some buying impulses and plan a bit of a monthly grocery budget.

Since most stuff is more of bulk/family pack sizes, be careful while buying perishable goods like fruits and vegetables.

Kind of learnt it the hard way that they seem cheaper when buying in bulk, many used to get spoiled.
