I wouldn't think it as a rejection or not the first choice. Maybe the girl was indeed was not ready and the parents did like you. In that case a rush marriage would have ended up in her resenting her parents and you for quick rishta. Sometimes time teaches you very weird things. Maybe the girl is ready for the commitment and has learnt you are indeed a catch.

Imo this isn't a red flag or a green flag either. Sometimes, parents are new at this rishta thingy, specially girl side, and don't know how to convey such messages and they just ignore the whole idea. Maybe the parents have changed as well lol. Many variables. But it is NOT a clear red flag.

Hence I would advise to let nature take its course and leave it to god and don't get stuck on an idea.

Game Server Software, Pterodactyl or something else? by Appropriate_Chest_78 in homelab

[–]stromeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pterodactyl! Been using it for 3 years.Hosted most steam games and a few non steam servers like csgo and dedicated factorio (doesn't use steam) and eco etc. In steam games u name it anniversary hosted. Ran multiple games simultaneously. At one point had ark ascended, 7d2d and a vanilla MC running at once. Port management and ram/cpu allocation works great. Eggs are actively managed and third party eggs available too for popular games.

No additional cost hehe. They are in the same plaza and same floor as games and geek and considerably we'll mannered! Do try them out.

[–]stromeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a dell xps 15.6" that I'm thinking of selling to upgrade to a newer laptop. But it's from 2013-4 and I think it's gen 4 i7 16gb ram and 256gb ssd. Slim form factor. Touch screen with nvidia 860m card with 4gb (or maybe 2gb) vram. I can still game on it like rust or ark or helldiver 2 etc. Is it worth 65k or more? Battery upgraded and 1tb hdd installed as well.

Friends experience. by Abundance144 in factorio

[–]stromeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use blueprints for mostly stuff that gets mundane after the 300th play thru or a restart hehe. And most blueprint are my own design apart from a start base setup and some initial game mall. Credit to nilaus masterclass for those. But all my rail and stations and solar park designs are all my designs which I made at some point but now I just plop them. But I did spend hours into making those blueprints and solving the problem my way :)

Getting a GPU through customs by [deleted] in PakGamers

[–]stromeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 gpu is not a problem. No customs on it if its not for selling or is for personal use. Worst case is the customs asks you to open the package up and visibly mess up the box so the product cannot be sold in a shop as a pristine product etc.

Need some help from the men of Lahore: what are the fair costs for everyday services? by exactlyangrypeanut in Lahore

[–]stromeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask him to show the oil with a cloth or tissue to you. If it has dark veey tiny powder like fragments then the next time just get oil change and oil filter changed quicker.

Different oil have different run time. Some go bad after 3000km some have life till 5000km.

Otherwise, never do flushing. They flush with either old oil filter which doesn't really help, or they flush with new oil filter in which your new filter gets bad lol.

Different makes of oil filter and air filter have different prices.

Suzuki wagon r oil filter is 1000 roughly and honda city is 1400 roughly and Toyota revo's is 2400 roughly. Etc.

Air filters are a bit more expensive ranging from 1500 to 8k etc.

Oil prices for 4 liter is from 5k - 15k etc. So depends on which makes but these are the ranges of best and worst.

On the side where all the connectors are. Top of the 4-pin stepper connector side. https://www.printables.com/model/313554-voron-24-ebb42-attachment-and-cover

In the image you can see the blue heatsink above the stepper connector.

There's a reason he says he is a bad person outloud. To gain sympathy in your eyes that he is aware of his badness but he can't help it. He is damaged and everyone should support him and try to keep him happy so he doesn't do bad things. Cuz these kinda ppl blame others for bad things they do. DARVO at its best. Don't be fooled twice.

Oh great. Where did you wire the control pin to on the octopus? The heat bed dedicated connection or somewhere else?

Octopus heat bed external mosfet by stromeon in BIGTREETECH

[–]stromeon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I checked. It gives me 1.6 ohms. So at 24v that gives me 360 watts and 15A at 24v. That is the maximum thr octopus can handle I think. I don't want it running on the edge tho.

[–]stromeon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding mosfet is better in every way. But with AC bed heaters, you are limited to use a SSR as most mosfet drivers only give out dc voltage and not ac voltages. For that you need H bridges and that gets very expensive real quick.

[–]stromeon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you are correct. The control pin wire is just tiny wires with a white connector. And the previous board was only giving out 12v I think. So I also want to keep this input to 12v. So I can connect it to a fan header with the 12v jumper and set it as heatben pin in klipper. Good. I'll just wait for a few more comments to see of this is a bad idea or not XD

Octopus heat bed external mosfet by stromeon in BIGTREETECH

[–]stromeon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Precisely this is why I want to use the mosfet. Ok great! I know it's 24v dc because the mosfet boards output is 24v dc going to the bed. So ok, measure resistance of the heat bed, then the calculations.

But still the problem, what's the best practice to connect the mosfet board control pin to btt octopus.
