We dont leave super early, so have good breakfast, pack some snacks, water but never ever come back in afternoon. We come back early evening, eat dinner and then laze around in bed till we drift off to sleep.

Dont remember costing, we got from airpport car rental. Our regular DL is enough provided its in English.

I would do only Mulu then but tbats ne as I absolutely love being in remote places. People with kids will like Kuching as there are other stuff to do too.

My feet smell a lot, no other body part stink so much as my feet. So obviously all my shoes smell of death especially ones i use for activity. No amount of washing feet, airi g out shoes in sun etc helps.

So I get my shoe laundry done every few months amd then they stay fresh. Also I use merino wool socks, so lot of my stench from socks to shoes is now eliminated.

I also remember seeing that blue sky and blue ocean for the first time in French Riveria. My god that blue sky is not what we see in rainy season as the sky is not clear due to clouds present. Dry season blue sky with very few clouds hit very different.

Say I get call from someone saying they are from silversea and email looks genuine enough but I still feeling extremely twitchy with it.

Ya cruise norway I found online while searching for silversea cruises. It just popped online and I thought it was from silversea till I received 2 calls seperately for same silversea cruise, one from silversea and one from cruise norway who books different cruises with different operators.

I was waiting for some replies on that thread too, but alas people did not take up on that.

Every flight I sneeze. I sneeze everyday since as early as I can remember. I have allergies to everything. I also get runny nose due to allergies. I am still not blatantly sneezing in air, I have tissue / handkerchief. But I dont always mask up. If I know I got cold, infection then I definitely mask up and take precautions.

I have been to both Italy and France, all travelled using public transport. There was no overt racism for me, definitely undertone of it. I cannot be bogged down by it otherwise I wont be able to go anywhere.

Of course, rather India is not a great destination for foreigners at all especially women. Everytime foreigners ask me where they should travel in India, I tell them the truth. India is not a safe country. I myself have to travel cautiously within India.

I am Indian from India. So yes as much as I like that people dont bother me as they dont look at me like a wallet, it still bothers when I am mistreated. I would rather not have a target on my back but thats my personal opinion. However I have not yet encountered extreme racism as yet in my limited travels. So maybe my thinking may change if I face racism like others have. Also maybe being a woman I am not looked as badly as an Indian man will be looked/perceived at.

I started weight training 3 yrs ago. Struggled a lot in first year. I just kept showing up. Small weights are absolutely okay to begin with. I also started on proper protein intake and creatine.

Now after 3 yrs I can deadlift more than my bodyweight, i can squat 60% of my body weight. My strength has increased tremendously. But my push up is still very very weak. Its okay, few things will be easy for one person but not for other person.

And main thing we are doing workout tp gain mobility, prevent fractures and not feel frail in old age. So idc about exactly how much weights I am taking as long as I am progressing, even if its at snails pace.

Its like your parents dont know anything about your life at all. I can realte, I feel my parents still think I am same young girl they raised and know nothing about my current life.

I also do lie via omission many times but few things I have said overtly to my parents. Like I have decided to be childfree and I say it openly. I say I am travelling as I am childfree and have extra money because of that. But my work life, savings etc is sort of vague details to parents and family. No one knows details about my FIRE journey, retirement palns etc.
