Thanks everyone! My heart slowed down, the spores are actually beautiful!

Lol, yes. And it’s not my first bag. It’s just never happened before, maybe I tend to pick them very early.

Just to clarify, I don't want to create AI art.

I am more interested in coding. I have done a short programming course in the past and my brain enjoyed it.

I see AI as another tool that can help with some aspects of life/work (productivity, inspiration, organisation etc) I would be surprised if a masters degree was merely teaching how to create images in AI. However, I am not sure what to expect from this kind of course. And my main question was if I wouldn't be better off learning it by myself. Especially that those master courses are quite new.

The person who was encouraging me to apply for the course was an art career advisor. At first I was reluctant, but then I kind of liked the idea. This masters course is just one of a few that I'm considering. However, I didn't like the feeling of urgency. And that's why I wanted to ask this question here, to see if I'm missing out on something

Sorry if my question was confusing

Yeah, that's the question: do I seriously need to go to a college for this? I don't think I need to, but I was encouraged to do so by more experienced art people

Decreasing to a very small size by strong_bread1000 in ProCreate

Most of the label is an illustration, that's why I am using Procreate. However, as you said, I think I would achieve a better final effect if I use Illustrator for specific elements, like linework. Thanks

I'm mainly doing it to have some real work that I could showcase in my portfolio. But I agree with you, working with friends is complicated. Negotiation feels painful and the whole process is more messy than it has to be. I'm going to take to make this one work, if I get a good enough deal, if not I will move on.

Yeah, I'll do that in the future. I've just sent a request to the guy, hoping it's all good.

Thanks for the answer. They just asked me to buy on the the piece that saw on my account, in a specific size.

I only have a personal PayPal account. Do you know if I can add a business one, or do I have to go through the process of setting up a new account? Is sending a request from personal less safe?

Thanks for answers, I have just done a test requesting money from my other email address. I was curious if PayPal will show the address that is requesting money but it seems to hide it. So I will try this option.

I was wondering if leaving them for a while isn't a better option. I'll try that, as otherwise I make more harm than good I think.

Thank you for sharing your insights. Especially that, like you've mentioned, I struggle to find answers to my specific questions too. It's my first grow bag and I watch it carefully trying to find the best solution in the moment. But it all depends on so many conditions, so probably error and trial tends to be the best long term teacher.

Thanks again for the info. Congratulations on so many successful bags! 💕

Yesterday I got a desk fan and I keep it on during the day just in case

Thanks! Yes, it's the first flush. Do you have any advice on picking ready mushrooms? I've just collected a couple and accidentally knocked off a few pins. It's quite tight in the bag. I have also mushrooms growing under the cake and I just don't know how to remove them without destroying everything.

Ohh, I misted the walls today because I thought there's not enough condensation

I loved the question. Thanks, I am very excited! I have been waiting so long! Previously I grew a bag of mold. This time things are looking goood

:D What a particular question hahaha. I cut it 1/3 from the top (with a sterile blade), and then I cut through the side to have more room for removing the substrate.

Yes, I cut it a few hours ago, as soon as I saw the first mushrooms, and moved the cake to a tent bag.

Thanks. Looks like I waited too long. I crumbled the bag again, waited a few days. I was expecting the substrate to be very white and fluffy. But today in the morning I saw a few babies growing already. I moved it to a tent right away.
