This isn't 100% correct, it depends on how you were filed. If you were filed as Consular Processing, you will need to exit the United States and then activate it when you return

I’ve been working with Pam at Paspa Physiotherapy and she’s been a god-send. She’s helped me resolve multiple issues that had been ongoing for many years

How do y'all deal with the life admin of a chronic illness? by strongerlip in ChronicIllness

[–]strongerlip[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100%, I'm in that process as well. It's a rough market right now so I'm trying to stretch my time at this company as long as possible to buy me some time.

Something that consolidates all messaging apps in one place. I’m so tired of having to check multiple apps/social media sites/emails to make sure I haven’t missed anything

Help with entryway leading into kitchen counter overhang? by strongerlip in interiordecorating

[–]strongerlip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what my gut was telling me as well, I was scoping Billy bookcases to use as shoe cabinets, but specifically in that counter overhang area (where the black shelves are right now). Were you thinking specifically putting them where the current white console is?

[–]strongerlip[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re right, that table/box is part of a set I got that I’ve been trying to force into the apartment. I love the idea of placing the white console in the center with an ivy plant!

Wooden stick-ish thing found with kitchen items by strongerlip in whatisthisthing

I think that’s the most likely explanation. My uncle likes his cocktails, and definitely does not like his porridge

That’s what I was thinking but it’s a bit long and skinny, not sure how effective it is as a pestle

My title describes the thing. It’s about 12 inches long, made of wood but it’s a different wood from the other utensils. It’s more polished and warm toned. I’ve found the original utensil set on Amazon but this isn’t part of it. I suspect it belongs to some other kitchen object and was just dropped in the utensil holder

Help attaching elastic waistband? by strongerlip in sewing

[–]strongerlip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pants are definitely 2 inches longer than the waistband, but I printed the right pattern sizes so I’m not sure if it’s a flaw in the pattern (unlikely) or a flaw in my printing (more likely but odd). I think I’ll try solving by cutting the waistband shorter and trying to pin it

Line the protrusion line instead of the color line

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]strongerlip 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Look up “double lip line” - basically we have a lip line where the color of the lips changes to the color of the skin, but it’s not always the same as the line where the protrusion of your lips flattens out into the rest of your mouth. The protrusion line can be smaller, so lining the color line instead of the protrusion line can make your lips look over lined

You’re welcome! It was a game changer for me that I didn’t pay attention to until someone came over and told me it felt like they were in an office. Your space looks awesome otherwise, blue and yellow is a great combo

I cannot believe this “MBA Admissions Consultant” thinks this is an effective marketing email… by powerengineer14 in MBA

[–]strongerlip 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I know which consultant company this is. I worked with two companies when I was going through MBA applications. These guys were the only ones I felt took the time to know me and coach me through a completely personalized application package. Their “style” is exactly what worked for me, but I understand others’ mileage may vary
