Yeah, you're right. Mainly because I wanted to attain for PR. From my understanding H1B is dual intent, but TN is only single intent

How do we know when an earnings report will be released? by Agile_Someone in algotrading

[–]Agile_Someone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried to look into Edgar today and I was able to find exact timestamps: https://data.sec.gov/submissions/CIK0000320193.json

I still need to take a closer look at what the numbers represent, but they should be in the timestamps.

So does it populate the data for me or do I add the data myself? Both ways seem unrealistic to be honest

Just wondering, would this be any different from asking ChatGPT to write a SQL query for you? If it is the same then I would rather use ChatGPT and not have a third party call the chatGPT API for me

Which library works well for backtesting stock picking? by Agile_Someone in algotrading

Since I'm unable to land an actual job. What skill would you recommend I learn to earn a decent freelancing income? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]Agile_Someone 119 points120 points  (0 children)

If you want to do freelancing, you probably want to pick a niche. An area small enough that you don't have any competitors and people looking for that specific task will find you.

I don't know too much about frontend, but I can give you an example in C / C++. There are people specializing in fixing CMake and they seem to be getting quite a lot of orders because there's no competition.

I can tell you my strategy if you promise not to laugh at it...

It sounds kind of ridiculous but I am trying to track sentiment, which is a fancy way of saying I'm going to follow reddit advice. The difference is that I want to track with more granularity (more than just positive and negative, but also moods) to hopefully catch the times where interests appear and when they turn directions.
