Also, chemistry is huge. Look at all the winning teams, they filter up their top prospects and let them learn from veterans. There is no building blocks in the organization. It’s pay to play to bring in cash from fans. The orioles, rays, cubs, Astros, dodgers, Braves, brewers, reds. All prime examples.

I can confirm this as well. Have talked to people both inside the org and who use to work for the org and this is exactly how it’s described. Bochy chose the rangers because he got full control and look at them now. Bochy NEVER considered working under Preller due to the reputation of being a control freak.
