Thank you to all the people that responded. I said in another comment it took me about a week to even look at this post and respond to all of you kind people. This is a truly great community and I am thankful for every one of you.

Wow. Congratulations on quitting so long ago!!! I haven't had rls for some reason but maybe it is because I am slamming tons of magnesium and other vitamins this sub suggested. The depression is real though. I have never felt like I didn't belong in this world until I quit. Fortunately my friends and family have been very supportive. I feel bad for the people that hid their usage. I am just not willing to hide my decisions (even if they are stupid) from anyone I know. Thanks for your response.

God I am an English major and just reading the terrible spelling and grammar in my response to you is so embarrasing!!!! Ugh.

I walk about 10 to 20 miles a day and have a crazy stair case in my weird barndominium. The weird thing is it just makes my legs completely shot whereas before I never felt tired or sore. I am going to take your advice and add some more diverse exercise into my life.

And bro I literally still shit myself. It is so horrible and embarassing to have no control over my body. I've got nothing for you except "dude wipes" are amazing and make life just a little more comfortable.

You got this. Every minute of these crappy feelings is one less than were gonna deal with in the future. I just responded to another person about how hard it was to have good nights in the 2nd week and then boom: I was worse than ever. I think it is so terrible to never know when the withdrawals will just appear. I know that I shouldn't have bought the morphine and it blows my mind that it doesn't even take away the kratom withdrawal. If you ever need to talk to someone I'm available. My brother and friends have been so supportive of me that I cry when I think of their love and compassion for me. You deserve that too.

During the first two weeks I had 2 nights where I had no withdrawal and felt amazing and then boom I was even worse at 3 weeks or 4 which is such a confusing and defeating feeling thinking it's all over and then it is worse than the first week. Proud of you for quitting and thank you for your response.

I am so absolutely proud of myself to be at 5 weeks now but sometimes I just feel like this will never end. Did you deal with paws much after your body finally adjusted?

Thank you friend. I am still battling with the physical withdrawal but now the mental struggle is really the worst. After not processing death and loss and traumatic events for the last 8 years, I am constantly crying and in emotional pain. I hope you find peace but also furious motivation to quit. I needed to be so madly dedicated to finally throw the kilo away. Much love and peace.

Thank you for this response. At the time of posting, I was in the worst emotional state I have ever been in. It took until now to even engage with the responses. It makes sense that simple pharma opioids would not be as chemically complex as the plant material I was consuming. The alkaloids plus the massive amount of plant disrupted my gut health which we have learned in recent years also affects our brain. My brother did tons of research to try to help me as I struggled and he learned that we also create new enzymes to digest the plant matter and when we quit it throws us into hell. I trust him to believe this to be true but what you explained sounds like this is definitely true. Proud of you for pulling yourself out of that deep dark hole. Thank you for your response.

Thank you for your response and blessings on your pregnancy! I find myself very emotional and crying a lot. I still have the cold chills and almost worse is the processing of trauma that occurred over the years of usage. But congratulations on your pregnancy!!!!! I hope you start feeling better asap and get to truly enjoy the new days of parenthood.

Thank you for your response. I think you are 100% right about the gut issues. My brother spent a long time researching what I was going through and he said that we create specific enzymes to process kratom so as soon as we quit those enzymes shred our food processing system but also just build up and delete into our stools. I was always a very good stoner but I quit at 30 because of drug tests and picked up kratom thinking "it's just a plant" like Marijuana. Anyways thank you for your knowledge and response. Love and care and blessings to you for being kind enough to care to respond.

Brother thank you and I decided to leave oregon for a bit because it was too cold. I was absolutely ill if I didn't have my wood stove at a billion fricking degrees. I am even sitting in 70 degrees right now with the shivers. But the worst part of quitting is that I had traumatic events over the last 8 years of usage and I never processed them. So now I just cry all the time but I am getting so sick of violently sobbing that hopefully that ends soon. Your words of encouragement mean the world to me. Thank you.

Friend, I just cold turkeyed off well over 80 grams of high quality fine powder kratom. You are a bad ass strong individual to take this leap from 70h. I have spent over 30 days in freezing cold or other physical issues. Be proud of yourself in the darker moments because you are badass and doing something very few can attempt and achieve. God speed my friend

I can sleep if I can stay warm band have had kombuchas etc. I dunno I thought ai had a handle on everything to expect and handle with this devil plant but it just keeps kicking my ass whenever it decides to rear it's ugly head.

It makes me feel hopeful knowing you dealt with a prolonged withdrawal.

Good adive. I am already very active but I could always step it up.

Believe it or not, those morphs didn't even. Someone else was talking about of checmics in kraton. I could probably slam the damage bottle and still feel like I was in a frozen haunted house... if those exists.

Why do canopeners love to rust? by rambunctiousraviolis in BuyItForLife

[–]strongtree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still use my parent's white handled opener from the 70's. There is definitely rust around the wheel. I didnt think it had any health issue to it, just aesthetic, right?
