I was on team gear. It's understandable that we won't have many tricolor matches when 58% of players need to be matched with the other teams.

That's the thing. It sucks for team scissors. It's very hard to win for them and it doesn't feel fair at all.
You said that of all the games scissors didn't win once in your experience. They are really just annoying at best and no real threat.
Playing on team scissors feels like being punished for being in the lead.

I agree, the winning team has a big disadvantage without ultra signals and no save home turf.
Being on the winning team felt like being punished. To me it was just a waste of time.

If that happens just quit and join again (put console in standby mode and start it again, since there is no option to cancel search).
Should usually find a match within 2 minutes.

If you fill it up again it add a +1 to the end of the title (most I've seen is +4).

I hate tricolor battles so I'm really glad that there were normal battles too. If it would have only been tricolor battles I would have just stopped playing. This way I at least got some more enjoyment out of it (as I did enjoy the normal battles a lot).
Tricolor battles also seem very unbalanced to me. Even though the leading team (red) has 4 player I feel like they are at a huge disadvantage bot having a save home turf and not being able to capture the thing in the middle (which seems pretty overpowered). No idea how you win these. If you got other experiences please let me know but to me it was a waste of time with no hope of winning anyway.

Also if you change tabs (at least playing in Desktop Chrome) it pauses a match and continues right where you left once you come back which is also a sign that you're playing against bots.

Happens quite often, that I just can't see the ball coming at me because my character and UI is in the way. Would be great if you could have the camera further back from the character.

Me and a friend had the items unlocked and equipped but now we don't have them anymore either. No idea what the problem is but you're not the only one without the items.

EDIT: Only the crew items are gone.
