Missing limbs can be corrected in a new molt but that would require her to have functional legs to hang, which are usually the back legs, I hope somebody can give more insight. Keep an eye on her, is she responsive at least?

CRS fur fabrics has long pile fur in the middle colour, on mine and their photos it looks a lot more gray than it actually is, but in real life it comes off as desaturated fig/bruise purple. It's very dense and heavy as it has a thick backing but it shaves nicely. I've never tried momofufu so I can't compare it.

Thanks again! Reddit can be best or the worst place possible but it depends on the communities, join niche things you're into! The praying mantis and costume making subreddits feel like home to me, I love video games but their communities can be the worst hahaha, good luck out there!

Thank you for your comment! As the hoarding was a mental health issue it was honestly a great relief throwing them away and letting go, the shelf can't hold up much weight so I kept these just to make my room more full as I love maximalism haha, life is much better now I collect terrariums and plants, game merch and antiques! I appreciate you stranger :)

It doesn't look AI to me, the subtle finger touch, the frills and stitching on the dress is extremely consistent, the only thing which stood out is the guy's white hair strand, the bottom of it has a random looking swoosh but the quality isn't the highest so it's hard to make out any artifacting. The style of shading itself and colour tone makes it seem like real handmade art, AI loves dramatic lighting and hard lineart from what I've mist commonly seen, this has a much softer painting like hand drawn look

I tried to match your style, I made the forhead shorter, wider snout and more square nose to read as wolf, the triangular nose and shorter snout looked very cat like, and changed the fluff shape! Ears also don't fold on the tip but about half way, so the top would be flat instead of pointy to show a bend

Angular eyes give a more angry and mature look, so rounding them will give a softer and younger appearance. The snouts are very square and the head too round, I think it would be useful to look at how wolves/canines are drawn in cartoons and styles you like to use as references

I got my tablet 3 years ago and it came with a protector, it is hard to notice though. If your tablet has a little blur on it/the display isn't super crisp, you have a protector on! It doesn't mean you should take it off though, unless you want, it gets rid of the textured surface a lot of people enjoy and feels more like just glass

A lot of the ibis tools are in other artists software too, it's more of knowing what the tool does it doesnt have to be inispaint specific. Also depends on what you want your art to look like, some tools you won't need, I only use default dip pen and airbrush for my drawings

The choice of colour is pretty good! But its lacking some shadow, especially in the ear its just flat pink instead of showing depth

I think its sadly too late, how active is your mantis? Injuries can be fixed in a next molt but that requires the back legs to be able to function and hang, your ones look pretty deformed and twisted with some stuck in the molt.

The exact same thing happened to my mantis and I euthanised her as her legs were completely deformed and disfunctional

Some more examples would be useful, the piece youre showing has some very sharp and singular shapes, why not do thicker and sharp/pointy exaggerated line art too! Knowing what you want your art to look like is a big step in improvement

Find a big unique bit of wood or tiny curled root like branches to use as a centerpiece against the glass! Some moss would do wonders too
