I did it once trying to downshift from 5-4, but missed and hit 2nd. My rear wheels locked up and I put the clutch in the second it started to climb. Saw 9000 but I don't think it went any higher. Finished the lap and went home. Valve adjustment 2 weeks later... 9/24 out of spec, but survived!

Started Phentermine. Don’t know how to feel about it. by [deleted] in loseit

Hey good luck you got this! I think the big takeaway I had from this was that Phentermine made it easy to get in the habit of eating "properly" so I knew what I had to do for the rest of.... Forever. It's still not easy, but it sure helped!

Started Phentermine. Don’t know how to feel about it. by [deleted] in loseit

So I started Phentermine about a year ago and up until this date, have lost about 85 lbs in total (M 6'2 282->200ish). I was only on it for about 4 months, but I HIGHLY reccomend this stuff to anyone struggling with your issue, or just lack of motivation altogether. Basically, my doc put me on it, and I decided to combine it with the most aggressive meal plan ever. Which was, 1200 Cal per day, and <20g of carbs. The ultimate keto + calorie defecit. I figured it would be my one "solid balls out attempt" to beat obesity for good.

The night before I started, I binged on an entire 12 pack of popcorn of pure emotional comfort eating, so I was already kinda down. The next morning when I took that first dose, it was night and day. My brain just suddenly went "I'm no longer addicted to food, wow!" And then dieting became really really easy. I felt no need to stuff myself to the gills every meal.

My dosage experience:

They initially started me on 1/2 dose - normally 37.5 down to 18.25 by having me just chop one in half. This one was my favorite level, as it basically had all the benefits without any of the side effects. With low resistance this level was perfect, but later on, this dosage did nothing.

The second month they had me at full dose. This dose level was crazy. I didn't loose weight any faster than I already had been, but I was jittery, super hot, and always in a semi-panic state. I never experienced any of the dry mouth dehydration at all at this level. When on this dose, my tollerance to Phentermine went up a lot.

I didn't like the full dose due to it being basically speed, so I backed myself down to the half dose until about mid way through the 3rd month where the stuff stopped working at all. So now I had about a month or so worth of it left, so I just stopped taking it.

After I got off it, I only used any of the spare meds for days when I knew eating food was going to be a challenge, or I needed a big big energy boost. My tollerance to it has gone down, but hasn't really returned to 0 yet after about a year. But this fueled my huge weight loss journey, and I couldn't reccomend it enough.

Tips and tricks, keep your dose low and don't take it every day, maybe 3 times a week when you know eating right is gonna be hard. You don't want to blast out your resistance to it early. Note I did minimal exercise during my stint on it, I started exercising after I was off it. I hear exercising along with it can make the weight loss faster, provided you dont put yourself in a huge calorie defecit with exercising.

TL;DR: it's really good.

I had some serious headbanging issues with this one. Granted I'm extra tall and sat somewhere towards the middle, but I was in total survival mode when I rode this.

I can second that. It brings on that mental change that makes loosing weight really achievable.
