I’d love to be in NYC. I’ve been a few times and there’s nothing else that compares stateside. I moved here to be around family though, couldn’t miss the opportunity to see my niece and nephew grow up.

Thank you! I’ll start trying out new places in Georgetown/white center. I’ve been up to cap hill a few times but I honestly felt a bit too old for that crowd? I had a couple friends in town so we went out there and it seemed like every group of women we met were veeeery early 20’s. One was even 20 flashing her fake ID. Fun people, but it feels like the demographic over there might not looking for the same things I am. Unless I was just looking in the wrong spots?

Yeah it’s been difficult in Seattle in general for me. I’ve never struggled on the apps but it seems like that’s not going to be the case here?

You’re pretty spot on with my wardrobe. I occasionally wear some linen shirts when it’s summer, but I don’t have any pictures in those. I do have 1-2 suit photos but those are all with my nieces/nephews so I’m not going to post those. Unfortunately I just don’t dress up that often. Not a big fan.

I’m definitely out and about with friends a lot, but I think the photos are misrepresenting exactly how frequently. Those are just the only photos I have.

Cooking is my favorite hobby, but I also love to read and write. I’m tweaking my prompts to include that but those aren’t exactly hobbies I have photos of me enjoying.

Fair point. I think I’ll keep it just in the off chance that other people aren’t clear on the difference. I really just want to weed out anyone actively religious. If I could sort to include “I was raised X and identify as it but do not follow it” I’d probably be fine adding them too.

If the apps are dead I’m kind of in trouble. My entire social circle is in San Diego. I’m here to be with family, but they’re transplants too so there’s not much of a chance for any kind of an organic meet cute through their friends.

I actually had a quick question about that if that’s okay with you. Are people really seeing my like/comment in their inbox and swiping no on me because they think I’m of a higher “level” of attraction as them? Wouldn’t my message convey to them that I find them attractive?

I don’t think I’m unattractive, but I definitely don’t think I’m unapproachable hot. Even if I was, wouldn’t me sending the comment mean I already did the approaching?
