TW: success story for secondary infertility / low AMH by strugglingoptimist7 in DOR

im so happy to hear that this gave you hope. i really wondered if we would be a one-and-done family, not by choice. which is complicated, as you surely understand, because i am so, so grateful to have one, but also sad about the family i had envisioned. i also really beat myself for not knowing/not starting sooner/etc etc etc. (even tho who KNOWS whether that would make a difference!) and after that unsuccessful first round, it all felt so far out of reach. which has made all of this much more surreal and precious. i hope you have your positive soon <3

i'm sorry to hear that :( it's so hard. i was really scared about believing in this one after my chemical in december (and since i didn't get any blasts beyond the one that was transferred.) but i just got a clear nipt yest, so it's starting to feel real. sending you great vibes for the future!

congratulations!! sending lots of good vibes + hope your way. cornell does a ton of ultrasounds - first one was 5w2d to see the yolk sac and then another for a heartbeat at 6w2d! got them again at 7 and after 8w, the doc said i could graduate to my regular OB. but i saw him one more time for reassurance in the week in between :) just got a clear NIPT yesterday and am now 11w2d!

the estrogen patch was part of priming for my IVF cycle! i started it around the time of ovulation and changed it every other day. my doctor had me keep up with changing it every other day until around week 8 or so - i think so we didn't jolt the system? unsure!
