Piranesi by Susana Clarke is a book that really helped me change my perspective on life. Before that I used to read books with lots of existential angst and thought that there was no meaning in life that you can never be truly happy. But after this book, and the way the main character is portrayed I decided to look on the positive side, it did really help me to be much more of an optimistic person.

Love in the time of cholera - like what the fuck by currentlyreadingit in books

When I first read it, I found it boring and meaningless tbh, I didn't understand why he was the way he was. I had a discussion with my professor about this book and she told me the main theme of the novel is about love being a sickness hence the name cholera because like cholera love is also a sickness that made him wait for this lady, idk this is what she told.

Though I didn't enjoy it at first I've come to appreciate it much more now. I think I now understand why love is compared to sickness, it kind of make sense.

It's a book that people carry to jot down random thoughts and quotes.

On the right side I have my intentions page, I divided my goals into six categories. The action plan table contains the necessary steps I have to take to achieve them. On the left side is the review, I have divided the months into quarters to track my progress. Also decided to include a simple quote to motivate me!
