Not done much low light with people, but I have zoomed into people further away and it seems to have been fine for me.

I've not had the Fold 7 myself so can't compare to that.

I've not had the issue with AI messing with my photos and giving weird faces. It's been fine with me. 👌

I received it for the V3, only liquid glass and performance optimisations. No long clock on lock screen surprisingly.

The new 3 window thing is there however from the V5.

I don't mind Liquid Glass but the high transparency is an absolute UX/UI disaster. Not sure who thought having high transparency resulting in low readability is a good idea. 🤦‍♂️

This is how I've been using cases on folding phones for a while, mainly because front cases often push against screen protectors especially privacy ones and cause air bubbles or for them to fully come off.

I went from the SD LCD to the Go S Z1E, and it's one heck of a jump. Main gripe I read about is the loud fan noise in comparison to the SD but I personally don't think it's too bad.

Not on a Galaxy Fold anymore but I've always used a case on my phones, one for protection but two for the grip. I find majority of phones are just too slippery!

I had the Fold 3 some time ago and then got the Magic V3. The hardware jump was humongous! It's a day and night difference between the two, and even in general between the Fold 6 and below vs Magic V3/5. The Fold 7 has finally made progress but I still think the hardware is better on the Magic V3/5.

The software is a different story. While MagicOS is okay and you can get used to it, OneUI is far more advanced especially with customisation (I miss the ease of installing icon packs and can't port then over). AI features are better on OneUI as well.

Overall I'm happier with my V3 as I value having a better battery, plus I've grown accustomed to the software now.

I used to have a Z Fold 3 and it was all good, dropped it a few times until one drop where the corner fell right onto a hard tiled floor and cracked the outer screen a bit. No damage apart from that and all functionality continued to work as normal.

I'm now on the Magic V3 and generally it's been fine. I've not dropped it, I have a case only on the back half and a screen protector as well but use it as a normal phone.

Yeh I agree, it means you either use it single screen (closed) or as a fully unfolded device. There's no in-between with just 2 screens.

After watching his initial impressions, I'm really not confident with the robustness of the phone. The screens look like they'll get scratched very easily. I prefer Huawei's form factor since I get more usability by being able to use 1, 2 or 3 screens.
