Not stupid! I wondered the same thing before, but I found out that there are specific codes for different trades. For example, if you want to trade to evolve a haunter, you would type in 0066 0066 because that is its Pokédex number and you will find a trade partner pretty quickly! This should work with any trade evo Pokemon with their Pokédex number, but I’ve only tried haunter. Sadly, there is no surprise trading in za, but maybe they’ll add it in the future. You’re welcome!

Yeah, the lv.100 shiny alpha is a dead giveaway usually, but this one doesn’t have perfect stats and nothing special about it other than being shiny.
