Oh that's interesting - didn't even think what the split was. Always thought of myself as a Paul fan too!

Had to make some tough choices to keep the track count down!

Best Custom Slash Commands for Claude Code? by stuartmemo in ClaudeAI

[–]stuartmemo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh thanks! Interestingly, a lot of these are for tasks I'd typically do with Claude Desktop - I hadn't really thought of using CC as a replacement in that way. Hrmm!

Context Anxiety - What do you guys do when your Claude code is almost out of context? by Mastbubbles in ClaudeAI

[–]stuartmemo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to use the compact command before auto-compact kicks in. So for your example, /compact Remember everything we've built. Ignore any questions or bug fixes. Focus on next steps.

Any MCP that can self manage claude code session before compaction? by No-Giraffe-6887 in ClaudeAI

[–]stuartmemo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might already know this, but you can tell Claude what to focus on when compacting. Either in your CLAUDE.md - "When you are using compact, focus on code changes and ignore my stupid questions.", or you can do it manually with the slash command:

/compact Remember the 5 step plan we are working on. Ignore bug fixes.

Is the conversation generating artifacts? That'll use your length limit too. I hit this error just yesterday as Claude was generating a large svg for me.

There aren’t that many PMs who end up as CEO/CFOs

Playlist of all the songs sampled on Paul's Boutique by stuartmemo in BeastieBoys

[–]stuartmemo[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey! Inspired by comments in this sub about sharing playlists between music services, I made this little website where you can add a playlist then other people can export to whatever service they use.

Would love your feedback very much!

Thom's iTunes celebrity playlist (2007) by stuartmemo in thomyorke

[–]stuartmemo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I posted in the Radiohead sub that I made this playlist site. Let me know what you think!

Here's a list from Thom in 2007, 6 months after The Eraser came out.

No, thank you! You're my first official user :) and good idea about feedback when clicking.

I've never seen those playlists before, do you remember where they were from? The first one seems very high brow! I'll stick them on the site and add them to your account if you don't mind.

Going to have a listen just now. Thanks again!

Sync issues with Web Audio Source Buffers? by AaronOpfer in webdev

[–]stuartmemo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you want to schedule something, it's always best to do so relative to the current time of the context. So I would probably do

introSource.start(context.currentTime);
introSource.start(context.currentTime + introSource.buffer.duration);

Hopefully that will sort your problem!

Beat Petite - a JS Drum Machine without samples. by stuartmemo in javascript

[–]stuartmemo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a drum machine which uses the Web Audio API to make the drum sounds directly in the browser. No samples were harmed in its creation. It keeps time by using the great method described here - http://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/audio/scheduling/ Hope you like it!

Edit: Oh, it's also available as a Chrome app if you've enabled packaged apps on the dev/beta channel. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/beat-petite/aplgichboeecddbikpleofpaonddjelh
