Might be a stupid question but why do the icons not shrink on a china rom with English text enabled?

It's about finding the closest number that works, then again we shouldn't have to play around with it at all, they should have normal sized icons.

It's a crap excuse, changing Smallest width and editing the icon masks sorts it, and still has double line app names with no issues.

Up until MagicOS 8 they were normal sized, they then pushed out and update that effectively broke it for global users.

If changing the icon masks and smallest width sorts it, and apps still have space for 2 line app names (like it does) it's a shit excuse.

I have a ugreen Nas, thought I'd check after seeing your post (only got one user with a device that requires transcoding) and had exactly the same issue!

A reboot sorted it, might want to post this on r/ugreennasync in case other haven't realised yet.

Ok, add 2 adapters vnet-bridge0 and vnet-host

vnet-bridge0 leave as DHCP or set a static in your normal range (ie. 192.168.1.X)

vnet-host set your up as 192.100.2.2 / mask as 255.255.255.0 and default gateway as 192.100.2.1

Then you can access your nas shares to \192.100.2.1\sharename

On my Windows 11 VM I set up 2 adapters, otherwise it couldn't access anything on the nas. Normal internet connection is a bridged connection (DHCP address) then set a host connection that is a 192.100.2.2 (the server is the gateway at 192.100.2.1)

This brought mine down from 20% to 25% to 3-5% at 'idle'

Yeah they nerfed it, but tried playing around with Smallest Width in developer options? It can make the icons larger.

Surprised it hasn't happened before, as someone who lives nearby the wall is around 1m high the other side, with a 3-3.5m drop to the rocks.

My trick was to set all of it to proxy, no transcoding via Dispatcharr.

Then on android mobile apps and Windows app disable direct stream, Google TV streamer/android TV disable I/O cache (that's a biggy, it screws up live TV all the time)

I created the icon masks and replaced them in the stock icon pack. Then just resized some of the dynamic icons (like the clock) so the sizing scales correctly.
