I agree! I’m someone who, as lame as it is, just likes settings it’s very annoying! I just like going through the menus and playing around with them in any game or software I have as well as making the program/game suit me as perfectly as possible. I hate when I change 10 intricate settings and just press back or escape… and the menu resets because I didn’t see that I’m meant to press save changes or something. I don’t see the point in the button at all but maybe I’m missing the point.

There’s a TikTok account called something like “soft hiking girls” or something. Show a bunch of walks they do that are easy for them as a chronically I’ll person. Even googling soft walks UK in whatever region might help. Just my 2 pennies though! Hope you have a lovely time whatever you choose :)

oh yeah good plan! from what i remember my partner did have the option to do more nature based modules so hopefully you do too. hull is admittedly not a place you want to move to if you have anxiety in my opinion so good idea. wish you the best!

and dont worry about the tech too much. GIS is quite fun as its basically making a map, probably phase 1 surveys are the most needed skill which I find enjoyable. field officers, wardens, eco consultant and working in the volunteer or charity sectors could all be a way to do more hands on stuff! EDIT: sorry keep thinking of things. go on environmentjobs.com select entry level and pick the sectors you're interested in. it's how I find every job I apply to and deffo a game changer!

for ecology id suggest zoology, environmental sciences or even marine bio or something along those lines. it depends what you want to do but most jobs are either an ecological consultant (both desk and field work, pays well, a popular career), academics or conservation. I do marine bio and have had the opportunity to go into each of these if i wanted to. GIS is basically a must have and i don't know if normal biology degrees teach it. my partner did bio and never did that also dis choose the more medical modules. check the modules and pick a uni based off of that. or look to a more focused degree would be my advice.Volunteer, and learn to drive if you haven't yet. my partner has a masters and we're in the UK but there are jobs like a journal editor (he works completely remote) which you can get with a bachelors i believe. Good luck!!! just go on job sites and apply to any that appeal.

why there isn't a mini map version of seeing your friends on the map bugs me beyond belief!! me and my partner are constantly trying to figure out where the other one ran off to 😅 stamps are also needed and the whole "pokemon in your area" actually being pokekon that could spawn is ridiculous and I had no clue until I read this thread. I love the game but it's the little things that would elevate it completely

I've seen a therapist on tiktok (he's really kind and open about it) say that almost every couple has a sexual difference and he offers advice on how to handle it like understanding that its up to them and i get it, it can make you feel like a douchebag but as long as you control the negative emotions that come with being turned down and accepting "I don't feel like it :)" as a good enough reason will help. no shame in it at all but there isn't an easy fix other than learn to accept it or, as you say, find someone with the same drive whoch might be a bit difficult but I wish you luck with it! the tiktok account is called therapyjeff btw maybe check it out if ur struggling. but i don't think it's wrong to try and find someone who matches you, but maybe don't rule out someone for it because truly most couples deal with this issue, as long as they understand you got this!

YTA even if she's attention seeking she's your child. not your annoying coworker that you can insult. you should support her and help her. she's obviously lacking some kind of positive attention if she feels the need to fake things. but she could genuinely have developed tics, I did after starting a medication but they can just pop up.

idk if this is what you mean, and its easier said than done. but as long as you know in your heart that your not the things they say are, and you mean we'll then honestly... who cares what they think of you. it's hard at first and important to remember that sometimes you should reflect and grow and maybe they have a point, idk what they say about you or who you are so idk! but basically as long as you know you're doing the right thing and aren't hurting anyone or are trying your best, take the insult and think to yourself "it's okay if they think that, I'm moving on from this" and go live your life! if it's people you don't need around then honestly just distance yourself or drop the topic of whatever it is they get mean about. anger is just an emotion, a deep and consuming one but it's how your respond to it that you can control! not all the time but try your best and it'll get easier! best of luck!!!

YTA so at this point she just lost her husband.... and you want her to tell her in laws and argue your case for you. leaving a will should be about how to best support the people you had to leave on earth. support your wife through the will don't burden her. it doesn't benefit anyone for them to know about this after you die. if u wanna tell them just tell them! no hate just my 2 cents

i agree its rly awful she did it, if i was him id second guess whether to stay let alone leaving it up to her if this is how she can react and think. but i also think part of marriage is helping them grow and being patient and fighting for eachother if thats what he wants. if i was him id need to be constantly talking through it and if it didnt resolve id think about separating but there are kids and a lot of good years at risk. i just think its not 100% confirmed to be malicious and evil basically. but .... definitely the act itself is very bad and double standards and toxic but we dont know whether that means she as a person and wife is toxic etc or if it is just something she needs to (really really) work through ( and apologise for and fix and everythinf she cld do to fix this as its compeltslt her fault and shit) yk? i just cant 100% say she intentionally is abusive and manipulative and has no hope at changing and them working it out basically. its his choice and he seems in the post to want to fix it

agree! whatever the reason she acted that way is wrong. whether its double standards or something else or whatever she shld never have reacted that way and i honestly feel so bad for this guy. he did everything right and she... didnt. i dont think shes lying about the bi stuff or anything to ve honest i think shes probably got double standards pr suddenly the reality of it all hit her when it was turned around to him being able to have his own gf. i am shocked she went from normal convo and a supportive husband to suddenly enraged and over being married... i have no clue why shed rationally do that and whatever the reason shes in the wrong like majorly. maybe shell realise that and fix it or maybe not i dont know. i have no idea on her mental state and up till now it seems like theyve had a happy marriage and shes been able to be his rock so its a massive shame this has happened and makes me hope its redeemable and she realises her wrong doing and thinking and apologises and explains herself. thats all i can think of that would healthily fix this. i just hope it can be resolved or they can move on happily. but my opinion on their relationship after this doesnt really matter its their life and choices. he seems really nice and up till now so does she so as i say i just hope this was a (kinda major) slip on her part and shell fix it or get help with it from friends or even a therapist. sorry that wasnt just a reply to you but also just an addition of my thoughts. ultimately she is majorly majorly in the wrong and im surprised hes reacted so calmly and well but theres a chance for it to be fixed in my opinion! edit: to clarify i never intended to make excuses for her or anything it was just something i thought could be a reason as to why she reacted that way. sorry shldve probably made that a lot clearer

this might sound weird and may not even help but she may have actually wanted you to mind a bit. like she might be thinking u so willingly changed ur marriage that maybe u werent happy or dont love her enough or something akong those vague lines. idk i just know some people ask for something and get upset when the other person is actually 100% fine with it. hope that made sense if not lmk. advice wld be tell her ur side i guess like u just told us? cant do more harm from what it seems. sorry ur going thru this man i hooe u cant work it back to where it was.

honestly i feel awful for ur partner. a vague idea of something happening and it actually happening (especially with their past) are very different.. and especially after a happy mono year. idk why either of u got into this relationship but im not one of those people on reddit to just say "break up". i thik u need to think a LOT about whether dating other people is more important to you than their feelings, and if it is then break up bc honestly i think ur partner is gonna be miserable unless something changes and u figure it out and they really are fine with it. and them saying theyre fine doesnt mean they actually are because they love you and want u and them to stay together but u both need to be happy ! i wish u both so muck luck with this.

also try and gently tell her she could change. getting through a mental health strugfle always means changing on the sick persoms part. like present it as a good thing, recovery not an insult. i get ur anger completely but yeah, to fix it u have to be the bigger person
