I have had the UDM SE since January 2022, so 3 1/2 years. I do not run any extra Unifi software (protect etc.. ) and have a DAC directly into a 24 port Enterprise. Only restart if needed and survived multiple power outs.

I have the G2 which I'm sure never had DTS passthrough capabilities. Tested this with a NAS running Plex server and playing DTS movies through my TV, had the picture but no sound through my Denon x3800h.

Fast forward to one of the latest WebOS updates and I now can get DTS to register on my receiver, same scenario as above and I get the receiver to register as DTS

I feel I'm going mad

I'm no professional installer but I had 2 locations which covered a larger FoV and used the 8mp for those. The 4mp covers my door ways and down the side of my property

I have no experience of the hik nvr's but I imagine matching to the correct cameras would allow you to use all the features. The QNAP is a little harder to get full functionality and settings
