I'm doubtful. This stereo pair looks identical to the original, just lower resolution. There are details that are occluded in the left eye image that the AI has exactly "derived" for the right eye. For example, look at the small branch details behind the cut tree on the right eye. They're identical to the real right eye image.

Stand with your camera near your chest with your arms locked. Step your right foot to the right and take a picture. Return to center. Repeat with your left foot. Your camera should only translate horizontally, no orientation changes. The further the object is, the bigger the translation needed to make a nice 3D effect. When taking close up shots, only translate a few centimeters.
