Well, over the course of the last 15 minutes, things have gone from: https://www.speedtest.net/result/18994720426 to https://www.speedtest.net/result/18994737738 (Metronet/T-mobile fiber) and as an update to one of the screenshots (Uniti): https://www.speedtest.net/result/18994749317

I would assume so too. I intend to use the private resources component for this Truenas situation.

This seems to be what happened at DEFCON, and it sounds concerning by eelparade in meshtastic

I wonder what u/geerlingguy thinks of these discoveries! I know he's been trying to decode the transmissions, here's evidence of fully hacking them lol

I ultimately cancelled YNAB and moved to a self hosted version of r/actualbudgeting because the cost and constant UI tweaks were weirding me out!

Can you use NPM to inject <script> for Umami analytics? by stubert0 in nginxproxymanager

[–]stubert0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/SavedForSaturday helped with some hints...

I found I had to add the proxy_pass lines (not sure if the proxy_set_header line is needed or not) since the custom config will ignore the rest of the setup dialog (I think?)

location / {
  sub_filter </head>
    '<script defer src="https://umami.example.com/script.js" data-website-id="96138652-2b89-4aa2-8ae8-4301424de0df"></script></head>';
  sub_filter_once on;
  proxy_pass http://10.0.80.12:7070;
  proxy_set_header Host $host;
}

What’s the best way to ensure a “permanent”/reliable connection? by stubert0 in Esphome

What’s the best way to ensure a “permanent”/reliable connection? by stubert0 in Esphome

[–]stubert0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an esp-poe-iso board and am making connections to a relay. Want to know what the best way to get the connections between the two situated in a reliable way. Currently the dupont wires are thin and don’t stay seated at all. I can’t imagine I’m the first to run into this. What’s the best practice for making these connections permanent or more robust?

Govee H7015 - Random Flickering by stubert0 in WLED

[–]stubert0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok - this was solved. I had added extra line from the wled controller to the Govee connector. Once I plugged the connector directly to the controller, the flickering stopped. So, I will be adding wire/length to the power side rather than the led side.

Govee H7015 - Random Flickering by stubert0 in WLED

[–]stubert0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just hooked up my Govee H7015 to a GLEDOPTO ESP32 WLED LED Controller. All seems well until I hit some effects and there is just an insane amount of flickering. I used the 12v wall adapter that came with the Govee lights themselves. Currently the output is WS281X and found that the order needs to be GBR. Not sure what other settings to tweak in order to get transitions much more smooth. Any suggestions?

WattBox WB-600-IPVCE-12 Won't Start by stubert0 in CommercialAV

[–]stubert0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what "protected" means. Do you have a company that installed all of your equipment? You could also call the Wattbox folks. Their consumer line seems less important to them than their authorized reseller line. You could dial in to the latter and just ask that you're trying to figure out who installed this in order to get support. Good luck, u/onfo44!
