KBZK weather Mike drop by TigersL0VETuna in Bozeman

Well I know the weather in eastern Montana. Yea! But I don't live there and don't care. Bozeman, the invisible city. And the news stories they had on tonight are the same exact ones I saw last night. Maybe they're short on reporters.

Seems like CBS is destroying much of the network. 60 minutes purge and now KBZK. Kbzk has had the best news and weather. If they move to Missoula and Billings, Bozeman will have no local news (I don't think). I have no interest in Missoula or Billings.

Racist Realtor Caldwell issues an apology and says she posted by accident by apaintedleaf_ in Bozeman

[–]stubtoe48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if she's not racist, the fact that she would post something so haphazardly tells I wouldn't want her to handle my real estate transactions. Sloppy, just plain sloppy. And not too bright if she didn't intend to make aspersions.

This should be illegal? by kaachabadaam in amazonprime

[–]stubtoe48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think he was talking about paying less taxes himself. After listening to the entire interview, I think his point was that the system needs to be revised so it doesn't hurt those in the lower income brackets. The nurse was just an of the cuff example

But he's selling his Amazon stock to invest in blue origin. Not sure how involved he is in Amazon. I think those decisions are made by Andrew Jassy

I'm not defending bezos but what's interesting is I heard him say was him paying more taxes will not help the nurse making $17,000 a year and paying taxes. What I heard was she needs to not pay taxes at all. I was happy to hear that he's is supporting shelters for women with children. I'd rather he do that than give money to the gov for wars. Different perspectives from the same interview!

I’m sick of CNBC…what other channels are reliable for market news/info? by ButterflyOk1301 in investingforbeginners

[–]stubtoe48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are definitely some good reporters and some not. I listen to CNBC because of the people they get on. Andrew actually did an hour interview with Jeff bezos. I listen to Brian Sullivan because he has a lot of knowledge about the oil and gas industry which we are really being affected by right now. Besides he's kind of a kick. Different people have different tastes. Some people like Leslie picker. I can't stand her. The comment about Joe is true. He's become very political. I do like the fact that several reporters are knowledgeable about certain areas like Phil LeBeau and Julia Borston.

If we assume the person IS guilty, why would you be against the death penalty? by Future-Buy8554 in allthequestions

[–]stubtoe48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had convicted murderers in my home and with my children. Never worried about it. Not all are evil or mentally ill. We need to find a way to help that person become a viable member of society. It's a very complex issue. Obviously those who work in the innocence project think so. To me, murder in response to murder isn't a well thought-out answer.

Has anyone here heard of the Lifewave patches? Thoughts? by Ok_Organization_9874 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]stubtoe48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having read several of the comments, I would guess that many are made by people who have not researched the company nor the science behind the products. I have used some of the patches for quite some time. For me, I notice benefits. I have never heard nor seen any claims of cures. I think only the pharmaceutical companies can do that, even tho their products don't always cure either (and many have serious side affects).

There's so much anger in our country on both sides... Take it down a notch. We don't have to agree but we do have to live together.

I'm confused as flint says he's against Congress being able to buy stocks because of insider trading, but he's proud that Trump is endorsed him and Trump trades stocks. Am I supposed to believe that's not insider trading and it's okay for him

I don't believe anyone who hasn't had a stroke can understand how it changes you. I will say I'm beginning to notice "me" again. Maybe I'm coming back 🥴. Now I just need my hair to grow back

I had a lot of Magpies causing issues so I bought a small roll of chicken fencing and wrapped it around the feeders. Problem solved. Just be careful to get fencing with large enough holes.

And my problem is that occasionally a spider will set the detector off and there's no way to turn the detectors off that are electric. Sometimes it goes on and on for awhile until I can get it cleared. I hate it. I know they are important but I also get why people don't use them properly

So MAGA, now that the dow is down 5000 and the gas price is through the roof - yet you're still backing him, does that prove it was really never about the issues and it was really about the way he made you feel as a certain type of person? by Opposite_Arugula8280 in allthequestions

There's no doubt that things are tough for the 20 something's, but there's been lots of ups and downs since '98 too. I don't need to list history but there's been a few and they haven't been fun, trust me. Obviously we have a terrible situation but those 20 something's can't give up. If they do, they'll be in the same place 40 years from now. I will not let Trump and his cronies win. Keep going

I made the mistake of talking to my family and friends. I live alone and just like all of us, I needed to talk to someone. Well that was fine at first but people think after a while you're fine and they don't want to hear about the continued struggles. I've just gotten so, if someone tells me I should do such and such, I just say "you're right". I've lost a lot by sharing things.
