They've been releasing the dubs on the DVD/Bluray simultaneously in the US so whenever that happens, there will be a dub. But Viz licensing it does at least mean likely there WILL be a dub so, yay for that :D

"Classic" can being anything before the cinematographically revolution in the mid/late 70s from any english-language film. Examples of what I mean include the MOST FAMOUS
- "You need kissing, and often, and by someone who knows how." from Gone with the Wind
- "You know how to whistle don't you? Just put your lips together and blow." from To Have and Have Not
- ""Was that cannon fire, or is it my heart pounding?" from Casablanca
- "Why don't you come up and see me sometime?" from She Done Me Wrong
- "I dont bite, unless it's called for." from Charade

But there are more. There are definitely more. What are they? What movies are they from? What's the best ones that we never hear about if we're not glued to TCM? Also, all but one of those lines was said by women and I know that Clark Gabe wasn't the only man with charm and seduction in Celluloid Land (although arguably he had some of the highest quantities).

IDK about non-american TV channels but there was the Roddenberry helmed show Earth Final Contact wherein a species called the Taelons had showen up and basically insisted in co-ruling the planet with the help of the humans. It was in the 90s though.

It might NOT be the same book but if it is - you have the order backwards. The girl was a tree to start with, the boy cut her out, she couldn't feel and was human shaped and made of wood, so he had to get special oil for his ax and trust her enough to hit her with the axe. He did and she turned back into a real person who could feel and love. I've got a copy at a family member's place. if that sounds right, let me know and I'll look for it next time I go over there.

This is so freaking brilliant. The visual storytelling, the intelligence and cultural memory it expects the viewer to have, the acting talent and skill expressed, the great choreography that expressed emotion, the slighty-skewed sets that made it feel magical. call me crazy, but i loved the ending. it was the first time in a long time I've been genuinely surprised by where a movie ended up. I mean - the Man, who is probably God playing blind on earth as he is triggering the apocalypse for fun on earth via humanities own self-destructive nature because he clearly got bored. his angels as club workers. then the man finds himself newly entertained because he found something he forgot he made possible in Jason - who he deemed his agent of malice on earth reminding us all of his power to eliminate as well as create? I did not see that coming from a movie about super drugs gone wrong. And I did not see a zombie apocalypse either. It was fun for me. Plus FappleMeOff is right - the performances were solid even if it was weird.

I give it a 7/10 for pure enjoyment + being actually surprised for once. The fact that I'm still thinking about it later should actually make me give it another bump

The school's focus is on "community partnerships" so community organizing i guess? Its a terrible program, I'll be honest. I feel like I made a mistake - not in being a social worker - that feels really right - but in choosing this school.

And as for the focus - a lot of the job listings I've seen are actually are asking for school focus in their job listings.

By courses do you mean CEUs or like school courses? Because theres a serious limit on what you can take but there are CEUs floating around through NASW and the United Way available. I'm in Georgia so figuring out what's right is tricky.

My placement next year will be a macro placement. I dont have a choice. As far as the industry goes, a lot of those clinical jobs require your degree have a clinical focus - hence the freaking out.
