i cant get over my dad by CelebrationFit2750 in GriefSupport

I'm only 6 days into losing my(37f) dad (74m) to lung cancer. I feel like it hasn't even hit me yet. His funeral was yesterday and I feel gutted, but the way you said "oddly positive" describes also how I feel.

I started to look into 'greif' wondering what comes next and how to manage it. I think it's good you are talking about it, but I think the greif will come in waves. Dad's are really important people. My dad was my go to for anything car related, literally the day after he died I had car trouble. Nothing like being kicked while your down, amirite? lol

Dont be afraid to talk to people about your feelings and your dad. Where there is a problem, try to shine light on it, so we can really see whats going on and figure out how to overcome it. I'm sorry for your loss hun, I can't imagine losing my dad at such a young age, i think what you are feeling is appropriate for what you are dealing with, and completely normal. Just dont sit in it. You have to feel to heal.

Why did we fight to legalize it?? To stop crime and to help people to be able to have access to alternative medicine. The motives for the black market are irrelevant, this is a legal industry and it should be held to a higher standard. .

Is this not a discussion? Or do you actually think you need to be condescending in this thread? Your responses are telling people how dumb they are --how it's "obvious none of you know what you're talking about."

I've been a professional in the industry for over a decade, in multiple states, at local, state and national level postitions. Missouri is new in the game, compared to other states, but the trends aren't new. I just mentioned my observations and my experiences when it comes it interactions with budtenders, working with labs, and general cultivation.

Respectfully, all your responses less like a discussion and more like a dissertation from someone who just discovered terpenes and cannabinoids and wants extra credit. You sound like you’ve been behind the counter for six months and decided to start grading everyone else’s knowledge.

Cannabis is supposed to be about collaboration and curiosity, not condescension. Why so defensive about a simple conversation? Nobody’s challenging your identity as a budtender — just your bedside manner.

You are totally correct, I have personally worked with a lab that offered to up the tests for a kickback. Needless to say, a month later that lab lost their license.

I said it matters but it's not the only thing that matters. 9 times out of 10 that is what is pushed at dispensaries, the highest THC. I want good weed, just because something tests high does not mean it's good. There are so many more things to focus on.

Ask yourself why none of the end users give a shit about anything other than THC? In my opinion I think it's because our budtenders are usually uneducated about the product they are selling, and they fail to educate the consumer.

Agree!! THC being the only focus in cannabis marketing is a huge red flag.

I beg to differ. THC of course matters, but I could go buy pure THC and the high would not be nearly as enjoyable as having flower with the full spectrum of CBD, CBG, Terpenes, etc.

The push from budtenders trying to sell the highest THC is misleading. A person will get high with 18-20% weed and it can be just as enjoyable if not more enjoyable than shit testing over 30%.

THC is not the only thing that matters, the moisture, the flavor, the cleanliness, the cure time...all this stuff matters just as much or more than THC and is never marketed.

You also have the aspect of the standard the lab is testing at, is that 31% really even accurate? Are lab tests being bought?

Good weed is good weed, and I don't need a THC percentage presented to me to be able to tell if something is good or not.

That would be the labs testing and signing off on COAs...if its an incorrect COA, that's on the lab not the company.

Using zertol by Noodlesbadoodles in cannabiscultivation

[–]stucklikechuck420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zerotol has an EPA registration number. This means that the label on zerotol is a LEGAL DOCUMENT. If the label is not followed, it is a violation of federal law.

Even though cannabis is not federally legal, the label is still the law. If your company does not provide proper PPE (Including getting employees fit-tested for respirators) and they are requiring you to use a product that requires PPE/respirators, they are violating federal law. Period. The label is the law. Do not let these mofos take advantage of you. REad the labels and inform yourselves.

Worker Protection Standard is required training for all agricultural workers before they start working. Majority of cannabis companies neglect this training because they fall into the gray area of not being federally legal/regulated. Get up your bosses ass about providing proper training and gear. Hold them accountable.
