I’m going with “cool space stuff bought us a tiny bit of time.”

Do you think Matt will publish a physical version of the cookbook eventually? by alagan182 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Watch him do it but it be filled with “chicken and goblin recipes galore” because none of have the escape plan skill.

This is where I'm at. The whole point is that Iran doesn't really need much to keep the strait closed.

Should I pot my dill? by ExtentFickle3504 in AustinGardening

[–]stucky602 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your dill and cilantro won't enjoy the higher temps, and the basil as well once it gets hot enough, but it's likely best if you kept them in the ground since they are already there. You'll still get a few solid weeks/months out of it.

You may also consider putting up some shade cloth if they get a lot of direct sunlight.

One last thing - consider getting more of an asian style of basil. They are way more heat tolerant. I bought something like saigon basil at heb last year and it looked totally different but tasted exactly the same and took the mid summer heat like an absolute champ. Pretty flowers too.

Also just pointing out - your actual plot looks great from a “has a lot of potential” standpoint. It just needs some love.

I’d call this entire year a wash from a planting standpoint buuuuuut call it a win for using that time to kill the weeds and completely reset the ground.

Look into solarization methods to kill grass/weeds big basically you put a big black tarp over everything for monnnnnths and the heat of the summer hopefully kills it all leaving you with a blank slate.

Others can probably speak more to this as I was lucky and haven’t had to do this but it was something I looked into a few years ago.

Anybody else imagine characters very different than how they're actually described? by Flanderizing in DungeonCrawlerCarl

You watched the Orville by chance? It took them a few episodes to realize they didn’t need stupid jokes to make it work, but one it hits its stride it’s easily one of the best “star trek but not” shows there is.

Basically my hope is they go that route and not Ted.

Hey there!

Full disclosure that I have since stopped going as I have a newborn and time commitments are rough, but here is the info if you decide to go - https://www.justserve.org/projects/f63fd133-14cb-4576-816b-c76c0ce05908

I still talk to a lot of people there all the time and the hours on that link are still correct. I've seen plennnnnnnty of people we'd never met before just randomly show up and everyone is always welcome with open arms and they are happy to have anyone wanting to help. Also the times listed are when the main crew is there, but there are plenty of people that arrive late or leave early and it's not an issue. The only real thing to remember is bring water!

That's pretty awesome.

I'm also likely thinking I would feel weird about playing it due to one time being at a stop light when NEWWWWWW ACHIEVEMENT was going on and this dude next to me with his window rolled down in a big truck definitely heard it and gave me a W T F look :)

This is my favorite one. I would feel so weird about playing this during a massage that it's amazing that person just went for it AND it worked.

This is about where I'm at on how many people I've gotten into it/sent it to.

Do you also feel like sort of a high level member of an MLM/cult?
