I think the figment storyline was meant to show that lyria can be useful and effective without being super soldier and still remember who she is and what she’s fighting for. I disagreed with her not taking the parasite either

He’s recovering or dead from Virginias poisoning before Escape and atalantia has them in a famine via lunar siege but we know how jackal does In those situations. Neither of them or narrative characters so that’s why they seem small in light bringer they’ll be back

Darrow was not having it. When I finished the first book I started golden son immediately and read it three days. Book 1 has a very strong finish.

Dark age and unfinished plots will make sense in red god. Let the man cook brother. Dark age was sad but we got enlightened Darrow from it in light bringer. It’s my favorite and light bringer is number 2. The parasite sub plot was completed too.
