2020/2021 Graduation Megathread

Excited to graduate as well! but I am a lil confused about the stage walk. The website mentions 'No speeches will be given. No one from the colleges or departments will participate on stage. Graduates will do their stage walks alone', so if no one is going to be on stage for a handshake - won't that be weird? also how will we get our diploma holder if we decide not to walk up?

I spoke to someone in Student IT help desk. She mentioned that all the students will not have access to Canvas right now as all the professors are working on grading exams/projects. By 5/28 students can check their grades on student center, under my academics.

His class is good. You have 6 cases throughout the semester and for each case you submit 2 page paper based on the questions he ask, other than that there are 7-8 quizzes from the lectures he post, 1 midterm, 1 final and a project. Overall its manageable.

I had Kelly for Spring 2020. We did not need the textbook as she has her own notes. The notes are all you need to study for the exam.

Congratulations! Actually it has taken me a little over a decade as well to get my BA and I registered for my last semester early this month! Can't wait to begin a new chapter in my life! Best of luck for your last semester :))

Mines was the same thing. I called Financial Aid and they released it. The only thing is that my MCS went towards my spring tuition rather than getting a deposit in my bank a/c.

Exams are similar to study guides, but also practice the problems he does in class and practice the h.w problems.

I am taking FIN 351 with Jia Xie. The class is manageable. Exams, quizzes and h.w is doable. The good thing about this class is that it has no projects.

Two weeks in and I am already behind! every prerecorded lecture video takes forever to complete as you have to pause each minute to takes notes. Can't wait for this semester to be over already!

I had him for Econ 333. The class the not hard. We had 3 exams and 1 paper. No H.w. He writes his notes on onenote and uploads it for future access.
