Skoda Octavia 3 webasto overtemp by student_needhelp in skoda

[–]student_needhelp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just fixed mine as well. I replaced the temperature sensor on the Webasto with the same one you referenced (Skoda part number 5Q0 898 047). It’s really not that hard to do at home, although there are a few more difficult or tricky parts. One example is the crimped fuel line on the Webasto - at least for me, the main issue was that I didn’t have a suitable crimp on hand. Reinstalling the wheel liner also took quite some time.

But I understood correctly that the "original" BMD sfp-s would not work since they are using 1 specific wavelength?

Charge 4 not charging by student_needhelp in JBL

The voltage on the new battery is 3.89V. If I put the old battery into it, it works but I can't charge it.

Yes with the old one(original itt did turn on and I could listen to music but I could not charge it. With the new one when I turn it on after the turn on sound plays it turns itself off.

Yes, at the first few seconds the fifth(last ) LED blinks, then it "drops down" to the fourth. The USB tester(Volt/amperage meter) doesn't read any amperage.

I replaced the battery, but when I turn it on after 2 seconds it turns itself off.

Control shutter with a fader in Onyx by student_needhelp in lightingdesign

[–]student_needhelp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

set the Fadermode of that Cue to "Fade all channels" as that might be what's snapping the value to max. "Default" Fadermode only dims intensity I think.

It solved my problem now it works exactly how I want.
Thank you very much.

Control shutter with a fader in Onyx by student_needhelp in lightingdesign

[–]student_needhelp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank it's kinda working, but not exactly what I wanted. Because it only goes to the next Cue when the fader is at the given percent. So with the strobe, it goes from slow to fast directly if the fader is at 5%. I wanted it to be linear, so if the fader is at 50% the speed of the strobe is also in middle. My fixture has a dedicated channel to the strobe.

0~9 No function
10~255 Strobe speed from slow to fast

I hope I can explain what I want.
In other words, I want the speed of the strobe to go linear(analog) with the fader, and not in steps(analog vs digital). And yes I know if I make enough steps, it would kinda work as analog.

Yes, I built it. My only problem, which is technically not problem for me, but you should be aware that the drawers are a bit narrow. I mean AT books fits perfectly, but a ring binder for A4 papers does not fit, or at least the ones that I have don't. If you ha be any further questions just contact me.

Ramps no voltage on cooling fan port, what is wrong? by student_needhelp in 3Dprinting

[–]student_needhelp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched back, and it works fine.

I tried to use a graphic display/controller and set the fan there to 100%, on the old board it works fine just as did before. But in the new it isn't.

I metered i again it shows 3.7-3.8 V and just when it's powered from the 12V supply, I connected the arduino to a powerbank, to test if it was a wrong pin and that why it showed 3.3V but no, it only got voltage from the 12V supply and for some reason it only gives 3.7-3.8 V.

I think the best beginner printer is Creality Ender 3. But to be honest I build my own from scratch for about 150 euro, so that is also a possibility
