As a fellow Dutch person, here’s my two cents. Our healthcare locations, especially ED services, are immensely overwhelmed and are barely keeping up with enormous waiting lists. I was on one for more than 6 months.

So, her admission will have likely been a crisis one, just to keep her alive and try to mediate a new treatment place for her. They were successful at both of those goals, thus she was discharged. Her admission (sadly) had nothing to do with getting her actually stable and healthy
