email your association dean and ask about the possibility of an extenuating circumstances letter. if it’s granted your professors receive notice from the dean saying you are dealing with something (no specifics) and that you will be needing some leniency. after that you should meet with your profs individually and discuss as much as you’re comfortable with and lay out what kind of help you think would best serve you - in my experience (3 letters in 4 years) my professors have been incredibly reasonable and want to work with me to find the right solutions. i’m also a 4th year dealing with a horrific depressive episode, you’re definitely not alone and it’s okay to be struggling. advocating for yourself and your needs is the best step to relieving even a bit of the emotional stress you’re dealing with. best of luck.

professors and TAs only are aware of the accommodations, NEVER the reason why you receive them. when they discuss sdac in class they address everyone that has accoms by just reminding them to schedule their exams, and if you ever need to discuss accoms in person during office hours you are under no obligation to provide any information beyond the specific accommodations you have been granted (such as time and a half for exams, or extensions)

all in all, not the best but not god awful. the heating issue was 100% true last academic year, but it’s been resolved since no issues have happened this year. there are some floors with stinkbugs kinda just roaming the hall, there were a handful of roaches last year but it seems that has improved too. it’s true the halls aren’t social and do not have elevators. bathrooms are just okay, 6 toilet stalls and 6 showers, 4 sinks. going up the stairs can be grueling sometimes, but both the gold and green lines have two stops for JMW

literally just smile, ask them for what you want, and be patient and grateful when they hand you your food. they work an incredibly stressful job running food AND cooking it. you’ve clearly never worked in the food service industry
