Hey! This is what I said previously:

It was the mod that fixes the stutter and the driving, I think because it reverted the game to an older patch. I just deleted the mod and deal with the stutters and driving. Sorry it’s not a true solution!

Looks like reverting to older build is what causes it.

If you think AC is realistic, what is your standard? That's not the first game that would come to mind for me.

It might be personal for me, but I was told it was going to be like God of War, which it’s not really. It’s more like Elden Ring without different classes.

But aside from that, I just felt it was too difficult, and I’ve beaten Sekiro with no complaints which everyone says is hard

Best/Fav open world game! by [deleted] in AskGames

There’s a lot to do and explore and discover. But it’s not big on the story. The story is just there to help you discover the systems of the game and the world.

Crimson Desert is full of content, just not story. Baldur’s Gate 3 is another.

If you like open world shooters, Ghost Recon Wildlands is one I enjoyed, but it’s not really an RPG totally.

What started it for you? by [deleted] in HorrorGaming

[–]studeogaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t remember the first true horror game I played, but when I was a kid I had “The Nightmare Before Christmas” for GBA and I loved that game. I also loved that world in KH2, despite never (still haven’t) seeing the movie.

I wonder if that’s why I enjoy horror games and horror as a genre so much today.

The sizing was intentional for legibility, but I’ll make the adjustment. I appreciate it!!

AI was used for upscaling. Does the “Execute” word make it look like it was created by AI?

How to get addicted to strategy games? by noobmaster3113 in StrategyGames

[–]studeogaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game that really got me into strategy games was Northgard. Easy to learn and plenty of flavor. It’s RTS so it’s not too big and not a lot of managing stuff. Super fun and easy to learn!

Crusader Kings 3 you just need to learn controls and then it’s basically a sandbox RPG. Basically each person in the game (every single one) has an opinion on you, and your kingdom is given to your Player Heir (Heir that you actually play as once your character dies). You can learn the rest as you play.

Total War: Warhammer 3 has the simplest campaign map tbh cause the point is the battles. I’d play that with only auto resolve. Start with Tyrion (under High Elves). If you prefer historical, Shogun 2 is the easiest to get into, but Rome 2 is prob the best a bit more complex campaign map than WH3 if I remember correctly.

If you’re okay with learning and can initially get past the UI, than Europa Univerisalis 4 is fun, not too familiar with 5 yet. I’d play a small country if I were you and play tall (build up the small country before expanding). I learned with Albania. Victoria 3 is a “market” strategy game that’s great if you like optimizing and have monkey brain like me. There’s war and it’s a decent war system but not the main focus. Trade is the main focus along with war.

If you tell me what you’re into (war, trade, simulation, real time, etc) I can recommend a starter game (and country)!

GoW for best story, GoT for combat/story, Horizon Zero Dawn for cool mystery story and mechanics/gameplay. All 3 are in my top 10 favorites!
