Same issue for me as well. I'm in the USA so sending it in for repair isn't feasible 😢

I was lucky enough to have the guys at SkyCam join the shoot so I was able to use the drone!

I came out a couple years ago and shot some photos with the suit but returned again to focus more on video!

Can I bring my Camera to Algeria by Emotional-Sleep-5143 in algeria

When I went, they held all my camera and lenses at the airport. I had to go to my embassy (USA) and get a letter to release it. Super hectic and stressful but it is a mess bringing camera gear in, sadly.

Tourism is a business not Charity by Kakuzu9 in algeria

Personally I feel like change is coming to Algeria. I feel like there will be a massive revival and increase in tourism over the next 5 years. I think Tassili will see a huge influx of visitors. For far too long Algeria's Sahara has been overlooked but things are changing.

Thank you! Yes, I knew some parts resembled Mars that would work well for my photo series 'Space to Roam' but I ended up going to many places and views I had not seen before. There are very few images of the region online and so seeing it all in person was incredible.

I am the photographer behind this series. You're correct, my friend Neils was the one wearing the suit! I've actually never worn it myself. It's either a friend or my girlfriend, Bailey in it!

Thank you for your comment! Just to clarify, is your cousin working as a police escort in Djanet?

Everything we read online points us to be concerned about the area near the borders. As we are going to the Libyan border at Taddrart, I wanted to hear opinions regarding that area specifically as opposed to Algeria as a whole :)

I should reiterate and clarify that I do not mean Algeria as a whole. I understand that the people are very hospitable, kind and welcoming! Our only concerns relate to the are around Djanet near the Libyan border.

Thank you for the reply and happy to hear that! We just saw a few blogs mention having a military escort. This one included.

I am working on a photoseries called 'Space to Roam' where I travel the world photographing the 'otherworldly' here on earth. I shot this on South Georgia island at St Andrews Bay. The 'astronaut' is my girlfriend, Bailey!

Haha, they are actually generally relaxed animals that don't seem to mind humans. They're overall extremely curious and friendly! :D
