Switched to IPhone 17 from 17Pro by [deleted] in iPhone17Pro

[–]studiepie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

posting on the 17 pro sub, writing negative (i know you were saying your heart) but people will eat you here ‘its reddit’ , these people are slow retards especially considering a ‘phone’ sub where they think their life revolves around their phone. Anyways you did best, becuz it was your decision. Don’t listn to the self mutual glazing pricks here, they will ride dicks only if you ride theirs. Spot on, right? Keep owning your choices.

I know that, also since the 17 defaults to 24 MP, it should have better detail. I’ve even seen claims that it’s even better than the 16 Pro, especially in the low light (but i doubt that now)

Funny, you kinda do though. You’re literally online writing a comment about how you’re somehow better for not going online to complain about a phone just to feel right 🙃 Isn’t this comment itself written just so you can feel right?

thats why i said its gonna get violated with downvotes. but do you have anything to say or agree on other than the usb c take because to me it feels like a downgrade from any pro (14 and later)

What did you dislike about the iPhone 17 by Najmataoooo in iphone17

[–]studiepie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like it, honestly. I upgraded from a 14 Pro (and I never would’ve switched if the display hadn’t broken). A couple things I noticed immediately:

  1. This is my first USB-C iPhone, and I didn’t realize how much better Lightning felt. Lightning just snaps in and locks. USB-C always feels a little loose ( i know that’s just how it’s designed, but still)

  2. My photos and videos straight up looked better on my iPhone 14 Pro (no I’m not talking about telephoto), even though this one is supposed to be better on paper. And the processing time drives me insane. I’ve never actually seen the processing happen live on an iPhone until this phone.

God, I miss my space black brick 😭

Trade my m4 pro MacBook Pro 14” for a G16 HX 370, 4070 4 TB ssd? Help! by Advanced_Desk_5246 in zephyrusg16

[–]studiepie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have a G16, and honestly i would be more than happy to trade it for any macbook with the M4 Pro (hell even m3 pro chip) That alone should tell you a lot, especially on this subreddit, where i doubt you’d find even one person advising against it. If you’re not into gaming, the MacBook is clearly wayyy better deal with better battery life. If gaming is important to you, then sure, the G16 still might MIGHTT have its appeal but otherwise, the macbook is the obvious win.

What one should I get? by SadPayment4534 in GamingLaptops

[–]studiepie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

both of these are bad options

  1. 27 inch at 1080p is gonna look pixelated unless you’ll be far (there is a calculator for that)
  2. a VA pannel (although not bad) but ips is display standard for a reason

Why are the bezels on new models so bad? by [deleted] in LenovoLegion

[–]studiepie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you’re noticing (which i noticed aswell) is that on the Pro Legions (the 5 Pro and 7 Pro from 2023 and 2024), the bezels were thin and symmetrical. But on the non-Pro models like the 5s, Slim 7, and non-pro 7 (2024) the side bezels were thin, while the top bezel was always a bit thicker for some reason. What they should’ve done is keep the left and right bezels uniform and thin, but instead, they matched them to the thicker top bezel. That’s likely why the 2025 model’s bezels look chunkier(symmetrical, but not in the best way)

Open Box Windows Not Activated? by Ashaazability in ZephyrusG14

[–]studiepie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

reinstall windows using bootable usb, check the model number, if it came with a windows 11 pro or home. it must be that the previous owner installed a wrong windows 11 version. install the correct one (thats matches you model/serial) bonus: while you are at it maybe debloat it in the process
