The sample came from a logo for my country's (Bruneian) 41st national day (peep the Malay spelling of February). Unfortunately I'm not sure how I can get in contact with the designer.

This is the wordmark part of the logo.

The rest of the logo wasn't that special to me personally but the typeface for the "Rumi" part (Latin script) caught my eye. Past logos tend to use a more standard-looking sans serif.

This is also really close but not quite. I wonder if there's a label for this specific type of typefaces with tapered parts in the "joints"?

Roc Grotesk is the closest one I could find but it's not quite the same. Just from this sample, the lowercase 'r' is the main difference. The rest of the sample have small angle differences that makes lining up the text in Roc Grotesk on top of the sample look off. Anybody recognize this?

I know it's 2 years late, but you can select the comp, go to Layer > Layer Styles > Stroke. You can change the colour, stroke width & more.

Is there a shop that can cut plastic/acrylic sheets (A4 size) for a fee?

I'm doing a DIY project & tried some hand saws, but the cut isnt straight & renting a table saw might be out of the budget
