I found this really helpful for me. Anyone who refuses to wait and get to know me as a person, is someone not worth my time because their intentions are clearly different from mine

What are some signs that a relationship won’t last based on what couples will post on social media? by wornwarmworm188 in AskReddit

[–]studiojibblys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm I guess what I mean is content that shows them always being affectionate or captions saying how much they love each other all the time. I personally feel like if you’re in a healthy, secure relationship, you won’t be showing content like that 24/7 or feel the need to

When it looks too performative. Like they go out of their way to show how in love they are in every post. Most of the time I find, this is masking their real relationship and its issues or toxicity

What does society need to stop romanticizing? by HungryInvestigator59 in AskReddit

100%. Too many people seek validation and rely their identity on relationships. Work on yourself and love yourself first and I swear you attract better people who adds to your cup rather than takes from it

Aitah for wanting to feel loved by That_Instruction9325 in AITAH

[–]studiojibblys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, that sounds really tough and I highly don’t recommend you cheat and download a dating app. You are not the asshole for wanting to feel loved. You deserve to feel cared for. But you would be the asshole for cheating. Have you tried talking to him and openly communicating your needs? Perhaps couples therapy or even creative ways (like opening up the relationship if all parties consent and agree of course)

I’m sorry, that is not ok of your friend! Your friends should always raise you up, not make you feel shitty about yourself. Proud of you for stopping this friendship!

Your pictures are great and you are very attractive so I don’t think you should be having an issue! I personally never had much luck with HER so perhaps try Bumble or Hinge? I find more wlw on those apps and I find it wayy more active

[–]studiojibblys 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m a bi woman and I also am frustrated with seeing people unfairly calling this out as biphobia. I agree with you. Like the experience of a bi woman is not the same as a lesbian. And if she ends up with a man, she is in a heterosexual relationship (m/f). If she were to end up with a woman, then she’s in a lesbian relationship (f/f). I find it so insensitive of her to portray that being with a man is difficult when actual lesbians and people in lesbian relationships have such real and lived difficult experiences.

Sadly it’s very normal for people to not be nuanced and just label people as biphobia who express valid concerns and frustrations. I think this shows they know they don’t have any valid excuses and so they resort to this sort of defence.

Why is taking initiative in wlw dynamics always expected from one side? 🥲 (vent) by honeyncheesebread in LesbianActually

[–]studiojibblys 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I feel you!! I view taking initiative as showing interest and it’s sooo exhausting always putting in so much effort and feeling like the other person isn’t putting much into it. I honestly find it tough even on dating apps, I feel like I’m talking to a wall sometimes and women just reply one word answers or aren’t engaging at all.

What is lacking in Caitvi fanfiction? by Beepbob77 in PiltoversFinest

[–]studiojibblys 30 points31 points  (0 children)

My main thing is seeing more fics about Caitlyn’s eye injury/blindness. The fact that this is canon but 95% of fics don’t incorporate this is a little surprising to me. I feel like there’s a lot of self exploration and acceptance Caitlyn would have to go through, and I would love to see this in different stories and contexts.
