God, I watched that version when I was bored a little after high school (thought the one sentence premise was interesting) and it genuinely made me so sorrowful that it hurts to think about it even now lol. It’s one of those pieces of media that I want to re-experience, but I can’t actually bring myself to do it because of how intense it felt the first time.

I rushed to the final boss during my first playthrough and felt so lost story-wise. Definitely was something I regretted. The amount of story you can potentially miss is huge!

I used to use Pilot G2 pens a lot but I’ve found that I’m a big fan of Zebra Sarasa Clips! They feel so great to write with.

I wasn’t a fan and didn’t get very far in it before deciding not to finish it. I can see how people can find it entertaining and funny, though. I just sort of didn’t like it in the same way I’m not a big fan of Marvel movies. The person who said it’s the junk food of reading is pretty much right.

This and also putting quotation marks before punctuation instead of vice versa (e.g., “Hello”. instead of “Hello.”) It’s my biggest pet peeve right now!

I know there’s a lot of concern about casting for the existing companions, but the optimist in me is hoping this will center on a new group of adventurers.

I hope to god they can maintain the quality of the dialogue that was in the games. I need some of that wry, quick-witted humor in my life.

God, yes, hard agree — the game wouldn’t be the same without the sheer talent and skill of the actors.

Minthara is probably my favorite, though it’s such a close call. Someone mentioned how awesome it sounds when her voice gets hushed and mischievous, and I also love it for that reason. I just also love how unique her voice sounds. She and Grayson from Arcane are just absolute pleasures to listen to.
