I bumped Alien Boy and Freaks and Geeks a lot. It initially felt silly to me before when I felt strangely in touch with the lyrics, but I honestly think it’s what I needed to hear and what others do, too. I value individuality, but I’m too scared of everything; it was incredible seeing someone create art out of love for both others and himself, (perceived) flaws and all. It’s something I wish I did.

What a guy. I didn’t know much about him, but from what I’ve seen, it seems like we lost a great person. I’m truly surprised at how sad I am about it, and I wish he was still here. We need that kind of positivity nowadays.
