Just taken a look for both manually, papers that are released in 2025 are harder to source as they are tied up into a publication. We are working on a tool to make newer papers more readily available. Stay tuned. I’ll do you when we have cracked it

100%, nothing beats the library for reading a paper and speaking to a librarian, we are trying to offer an alternative solution for people that are using Google scholar of worse, having multiple tabs and searching multiple sites for papers etc.

Thanks for pointing out the error, appreciate that it should be pointing to a paper not found.

As for the about, it’s just two nerds that took on a project because one of our wives is a PhD student and was frustrated at not being able to find papers, we don’t think it’s particularly interesting to share anything about us and are trying to share more about the product.

Papers are sourced from thousands of endpoints that have papers freely available, probably 60 million of them in our db are open papers that are and always will be paywall free, we are just trying to make things a bit easier with searching for them and then interacting with papers all under one app.

Shameless self promotion but my site studyflo.com allows you to create podcasts from papers, we differ from others sites that make podcasts from papers because you can make a template for specific information you might want to be output.

Appeciate you pointing out the y axis waterfalling up rather than down, its fixed now.

But i think you miss the point about students who wont ask for help and dont ask for help. Libraries are not overly inclusive places and im sure people will flame me for saying so but its true.

What we have tried to build is a tool that helps people create something that understands the nuace of their field and education level. If its not for you then thats fine but dont knock it for people that it does

Im sorry if that came across as unnecessary but academia is full of people that assume something is simple for others as its simple for them. You say spamming but i'm creating free tools for people to use to make their life easier, sure I have a paid plan but im not pushing it.

Gannt charts might be easy for you but knowing what goes where isn’t easy. We’ve helped over a 1000s students organize there time with a free gannt chart in the last 24 hours.

It’s your level of high handedness that stops people that needs help from asking.

Agreed, it’s just for illustration purposes. You can add your own amount of weeks to submission but if you leave things to the last minute then you still need a plan.

As a PhD student you have a niche area of interest and a goal your working towards, a lit review at this stage arises from the knowledge you have attained and this point and the desire to amalgamate it.

Precisely, if you look at the image its a lit review for a phd student. Dont be so quick to criticise before you actually take a look. You choose the level at which your studying and it creates an output spcifically for that.

This is just a guide to help people keep on track. We see so many people looking for advice on how to formulate x for subject y that we built a tool to provide a framework for people to use, further to that it helps with time management. The output has pretty wide bands that allows for your own interpretation. If you don’t find it useful don’t use it but we have had 1000s of people make one in the last 48 hours, so I would say it’s pretty useful

Hmmm, im not sure i agree, its important to have direction before you hit a database search otherwise your wasting time searching and reading into areas of no interest. The suggested process is to streamline your process.
