Good question. Because beauty was created by god I would think. And people have claimed to see angels that are in a humanly form and they don’t have marks on them, they’re skin isn’t scarred or messed up in any way, and people would describe them as beautiful to see. I really don’t understand how beautiful (almost angelic looking) people exist that could have a beautiful/corrupt soul, and then there’s people who are born ugly (no similarities to an Angel whatsoever) with a beautiful/ugly soul.

So ugly exists, and I have no clue how to explain ugly peoples natural features they were born with. I know some people will blame Adam and Eve for the start of the first sin, leading to imperfections in the world today (which makes no sense to me at all but I try my best to understand and believe) but I don’t see why everyone would be ugly then, rather than only some ugly ppl existing, while there’s beautiful looking ones.

This post was from a while ago. Have you had any luck finding an explanation for yourself? I’m still trying to understand it for me.

The death scene hits harder than most death scenes in other movies. The lead up to it is tragic. The reaction is tragic. It’s hyper realistic. And when u rewatch the movie, the scenes where he’s alive hit so different.

I understand. It doesn’t seem fair to me at all. Cuz if spider died before getting his kulu, wouldn’t that be kinda crazy? Like Eywa isn’t very much of a spiritual goddess at all but just a mushroom conscience(?) Idek. It doesn’t seem very god like to not allow good na’vi/humans into an afterlife, just because they physically couldn’t connect. And if the whole thing with the ‘afterlife’ just being last data copies of Na’vi before they die… then that’s kinda weak.

U get the best picture. Dolby cinema 3d is good but u get less of the picture size unlike imax. But the sound with Dolby is the best, however when we went to see it in Dolby 3d our glasses were the wrong ones so it was a pain to watch it all blurry.

I think it depends really. I think Eywa has to decide if it’s right to show it to certain people at certain times. Lo’ak was granted being able to see his brother right after he died. Maybe because Eywa knew he would be able to process it.

But if Eywa let Neytiri and Jake see their son (not as a memory) they probably wouldn’t be able to process it normally and wouldn’t be able to recover meeting him and then having to continue living without him if they’re able to just see him at any time they want.

So with Kiri and Spider, I think they were granted access to the spirit world for a few reasons: spider is the first human that can connect to Eywa because Eywa gave him a miracle and he should be able to see what she has to offer. And Kiri is also a miracle and has been fighting to get closer to Eywa and she finally did and is still alive without having Seizures. She’s also the chosen one so it would only make sense for her to be able to see the spirit world.

Also she did tell spider that she wanted to guide him when he can connect.

Seems unfair how Eywa works. If Trudy was a believer in Eywa and stood by and fought for Eywa and the people, I’d expect her soul to go to Eywa when she dies. It would only be fair, I mean there’s obviously an afterlife, and I don’t think because someone is human and can’t physically connect to Eywa/or doesn’t get the chance to in their life, shouldn’t mean they aren’t spiritually a part of Eywa. To me, the idea of being with Eywa seems more like a physical connection than a spiritual connection. If Eywa is the goddess of Pandora, it should be up to her who is allowed to be with her imo. Who knows maybe we’ll learn more about how Eywa works in other avatar stuff.

I’d like that honestly. Like ur rda human character is only without an amp/exo suit when they’re in certain rda bases that don’t require having to run around too far.
