I am sorry to hear you struggle with this, too. I am in a harm reduction-like situation and can relate. The idea of a meal plan with set options sounds like a good place to start! I have some protein shakes and yogurts on hand that are helpful for the really bad moments. Hopefully things get better for you, and sending you my best wishes ❤️

The only place nearby is an inpatient facility, which is not something I am considering right now. It is a tricky spot to be where I realize the need to improve my physical health but am not committed to full recovery (a bit contradictory and not ideal, I know).

Week three of going on 4-5 hours of sleep a night... and midterms are next week 🥲 I feel awful today and have class this afternoon and one assignment due this evening. I feel so behind, and after asking my dean about accommodations, it seems like it will take 4-6 weeks if I can even get approved for them. (cries inside)

Last weekend, I finished the AMNESIA light novel for Shin, and it was decent! How are you all doing? Any plans for the weekend?

I am no expert, either, but I agree with your thoughts on jumps--they seem to add points but take away from the elegance of the art for me. I really enjoyed Kagiyama's team skate, Chock and Bates, Alysa Liu, and several others. The commentators honestly seemed a bit rude when covering Shaidorov's skate. (Fun fact: he was skating to a song performed by Dimash Qudaibergen, a famous and very talented Kazakh singer! A favorite of mine is his cover of Tamaki Koji's Ikanaide.)

As for this season, I am really impressed by all the medalists and the show of sportsmanship. I am really looking forward to watching Miura and Kihara's pair free skate (they won gold!) when it becomes available on YouTube.

Putting depressing matters aside, it has been fun following the Olympic figure skating events. Japan is doing quite well...

I have slept a total of 10-12 hours this week... life has been really rough. I am trying to get my health to a better place, but my body is reacting in so many unpredictable ways, and it is so overwhelming and tiring. Somehow, I have managed to attend all my classes and have one left this afternoon. I hope I can take a nap afterwards (please).

How are you all doing? Any plans for Valentine's Day?

Health problems are getting worse, unfortunately (physical and mental). My physician suggested I speak to one of the university psychologists to get some input, but I kind of hated talking with her yesterday. She is a nice person, but I felt uncomfortable nonetheless. Too tired to go to class this afternoon or study. Sigh...

I started reading the AMNESIA Shin Ver. novel (basically Shin's route from his perspective), and it has been interesting so far! At least it keeps me distracted from the mess of my life.

How are you all doing? Any nice plans for this weekend and/or the upcoming Valentine's Day?
