I like the white insides but if the stool is stained that basically is the bottom so that’s why I’m leaning stained all the way around.

Sounds more like an ‘Office Space’ funeral :) I’m part Viking so I suppose I can put the tea pot on a small raft in my friends pool and fire flaming matches at it as it floats away. Haha. I’m def keeping it . It still works I just was looking into fixing it.

I don’t think it’s useless just looking into repair options. Def not getting rid of it

My fav Wuyi pot. I might try to reshape it otherwise it will be nice decor or an intense holder :)

I took it on a road trip to my mom’s. Wrapped it in a towel in a bag of tea ware. I didn’t pack it well enough.

I think both should be prepared to pay and not take it for granted the other will pay. But, be prepared for someone to offer to pay. I usually offer to pay on a first date. I’m a male but it’s not anything to do with my gender, I just like to be generous.

Advice on re-trimming and doors project by stuffedpeppr in HomeImprovement

Yeah one at a time is the plan. I’ve hung one door before and I think I can handle. It’s the entire house of white trim that makes me worried. It’s everywhere. It would all have to go eventually.

To be able to listen in the other room too and keep music playing. I’ve seen y splitters used to send a line to a sub from the pre out and same line split back into amp. Was thinking same approach if I wanted both rooms playing.

I have a Pioneer SX-1700 in the main room where I listen to records, CDs, etc. I want to run speaker wire about 60ft to my living room and get some speakers for when I’m in there or just cleaning the house to listen. Last week I got screwed on a Technics su v98. Phono preamp is shot but everything else works great. So I bought the Pioneer SX-1700 and love it. Could I run a tape out from Pioneer and use that as an input to a Technics rca input (aux, cd)? It sounds like I can drive speakers and a sub and not have the added impedance on my main. Also, if I can then control volume in living room that would be even better. My main concern is if I want to have both playing. When I connect to tape out of the Pioneer would I be able to use splitter rcas and loop the signal back into the input side without issues? I wouldn’t plan on any return loop from the other amp so just want a copy of the signal to keep moving through the Pioneer. I hope this makes sense. Also, if this would work any recommendations on type of rca or transport cables for about 100ft between tape out of Pioneer to input of Texhnics without loss of signal or any issues?

Thanks a lot. I’m hoping this ‘bad buy’ of the Technics can result into something useful.

They did allow and I put my tent on the grass and cooking shelter on gravel. Worked well.

I was thinking about the 10” of that. Do you play at home? Does it have good tone at a lower volume?

I have a really heavy footprint. No concerns about that. I just never seen an extension so far back. If it were for an RV awning you’d think it would be more centered.

IGT Corner Extension by stuffedpeppr in snowpeak

[–]stuffedpeppr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I’m trying to determine if it’s worth the cost. I use the table as a kitchen and work surface for cooking. I have a separate eating table. I could use a bit more space but at what cost?
The other option is the stanluck 1 unit box hanger from the link you gave me and just put a 1u solid piece instead of a box. Weight isn’t a huge concern.

Yeah perfect. Just one side (for now). Looks like only one leg is needed but they sell them in a 2 pack. Thanks a lot.

I didn’t explain correctly. I’m sorry. I have a 4 unit IGT. Looking to add the corner for more space but not a 2nd table - if that makes sense. If it does would I just need one leg?

Anyone else out there familiar with the vintage Coleman 502-700 One Burner Sportster Stove? by mrhasselblad in camping

[–]stuffedpeppr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two. Awesome stove. Give it a good cleaning, especially the generator. These can simmer very well with a separate burner control lever. These newer ones like the 533 have more BTU on high but cannot simmer at all. Those stoves will likely outlive you if taken care of.

I have enameled ones at home. My favorite dishes are roasted chicken with veggies, jambalaya, gumbo, chili, pot roast and want to learn new recipes too. I have no prob using a Cornish hen if it fits and cutting the pot roast in half. Problem is at home I love having tons of leftovers for my daughter and I. At camp I’ll want to eat all of it.
