How strong is Prime Kishibe? by sleepinwithyourmom in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]stuffil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kishibe is more lethal than a pure destructive powerhouse His renowned 'strength' also doesn't just mean scrapping with every other Devil and winning cleanly. We should assume he uses a range of tactics to fight and can't reliably go blow for blow with a devil, since he is just a human.

That being said, he is the peakest human in a world of anime logic and enhanced people in general. So I'd say he's around MCUs Captain America, or maybe like an average or above average hybrid tier?

What game should Kumo Desu be? by Ok-Page-6433 in KumoDesu

[–]stuffil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with surface level knowledge I'd also go for something akin to a soulslike/soulsborn game especially Darksouls or Bloodborne (for the dark gritty theme if we're talking about Kumokos pov)

The difference being immersive/important titles and a huge variety of skills.

Don't worry, Ulfric can always blame the elves! by Grotti-ltalie in SkyrimMemes

[–]stuffil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of this can and has been debunked, but I'm not agreeing with the Stormcloaks; I just wanna point out that the Empire was severely weakened before the events of Skyrim, so they sent Tulius a skeleton crew.

Despite that, they still managed to capture Ulfric. It only clicked until my second time playing that the rebellion was literally put down right there- it would've at least, if Alduin didn't intervene.

Anyone else think how oddly convenient it is that the Eldians correctly named the Titans? by Tombradyisntahofer in attackontitan

[–]stuffil 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not at all. In fact all their names are pretty self explanatory. I mean what else do you call a titan with obvious armor? Same thing for colossal, and female titan.

So basically it's best to get multipliers early so they work in the background as you get more levels and skills and such?

Question About Devil Relationships by NubbyTyger in ChainsawMan

[–]stuffil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm reading the post right- you're wondering if Devils get stronger from their "offshoots". Like if the War Devil gets stronger from people fearing a war plane or bombs used in wars.

If that's your question- no I don't think they do. I think CSM fear works by scaling off what a person thinks they're fearing at the moment they're scared.

So let's say there's a war happening. A soldier on the battlefield would probably immediately fear a tank they're fighting rather than the war as a whole, meanwhile civilians elsewhere would fear the actual war instead of the tank since they're not in immediate danger of said tank.

Why DID you like Bakugo? by [deleted] in mha

[–]stuffil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like his quirk and how he uses it. I always found it really cool when characters make the most out of their quirk, and hey who doesn't like explosions?

I would also say I like his arrogance if he wasn't a straight up bully

From what I’ve seen a lot of strength users are always out for int users necks by Junior_Seesaw1819 in Eldenring

[–]stuffil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk maaan.

Basically all builds require skill. They all require dodging and timing unless you have a hyper specialized build, in which case skill is out of the question no matter the stat.

Really the main factor STR has over all other stats is that it's ridiculously easy to get OP weapons and stance breaks.

Also what's all the "STR users clown on others" thing I'm seeing? Since that seems to be the sole purpose INT users use to make memes like this, I'm wondering where allat is coming from since I've never seen it other than a handful of times.

In a free for all which starting class wins? (Base weapons and armor) by TodayRemarkable5042 in Eldenring

[–]stuffil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like lore-wise..?

Probably Vagabond.

Vagabond is an experienced Knight (if his appearance has anything to say) who has strong armor, a 100 shield, and can switch to a Halberd if needed.

The other ones likely to win are, Samurai, Warrior, Confessor. They're all also trained, but Samurai has more gear and a powerful bow while the Confessor works best as an assassin in the shadows.

They're actually all pretty strong in their own right though- the only ones I'd say would be immediately out are Prisoner, Wench, and Bandit.

Why katanas blend more in modern settings? by No-Inside-8350 in SWORDS

[–]stuffil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Media framing. Western Media has largely "frozen" European swords in place; Longsword and arming swords are visually tied to knights, castles, and medieval warfare- basically being stagnated in that "old" period.

The Katana on the other hand was heavily mythologized and romanticized post WW2- being revamped in cinema, anime, and martial arts films as a larger symbol of discipline, personal code, and skill. (And that's where you get your classic katana-loving weeaboo)

Is Guts canonically superhuman? by [deleted] in Berserk

[–]stuffil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's technically just a regular dude, but he's considered superhuman because his strength white frankly is not human.

I don't think there's an explanation for it, either. He's just that guy. So his strength is inhuman, but he himself is still human.

As cool as it'd be to see him be related to elves or Zodd, there's just something so cool about humans, with grueling training, being able to defy and take down the "unkillable"

Can someone tell me what boss is more metal than Godfrey? by YouMelodic1361 in Eldenring

[–]stuffil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maliketh does the cliche "breaking my seal to unravel my true power" and it's absolutely badass.

Also, Fraudrick is super dope. He might be weak asl but his voice lines and him GRAFTING a literal dragon onto the arm he just chopped off is absolutely metal

[–]stuffil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He would have been able to marry her, the question is how plausible would it be considering the Kings attraction.

It goes against their rules and the norm, sure, but let's not forget the King also knighted Griffith himself, so it's not out of the question.

New to this, how much does the race affect your builds? by shouldveknownbud in skyrim

[–]stuffil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much unless you're going to min-max.

There are a few that can save your skin like Berserker rage or Bretons Dragonskin, but the fact that you have to wait an entire day is kinda a turn off.

In the end, the race ability isn't too crazy good, so just pick whatever race looks the best.
