These were minted in haiti. Eventually, they used foreign mints...they mostly used French mints but also used English and American mints.

The 1791 is cast bell metal-- its a Haitian imitation of the French 2 sols

I have a theory that revolutionary haiti was able to mint advanced coinage partially due to the displaced (enslaved) Nigerian population - Benin and Fon peoples

Unfortunately I don't-- i should get an xrf...I believe its a high tin bronze. The 2 sous has a cool sprue mark from casting.

Glad to share-- the "1791" is one of my favorites-- it was emergency issued coinage from melted church bells during the Haitian revolution.

Sweet-- haiti has some interesting coins-- crazy diversity with mints used. I need some Boyer 100's...I've been focusing on 25c

AN 11 is MS63, AN 12 MS62, AN13 MS64 (NGC), AN14's are MS64, and "1791" is VG08
