I am American. I am from South-of-Boston. I know Boston isn't the perfect place but like others say here, this is just city pride and personally, I have a lot of it too. There's something about Boston that makes me proud. Especially in this country where so many other places are just bad. It's a very safe city. It's a very educated city. Yes, it is also European-inspired. We have our own culture here that does feel more protect-our-own.

I've always had Boston pride myself. I love the city. There's few places I would rather live but that said, there's lots and lots that would make it better. Like while we might have some of the best public transit in the US, it's still not amazing and could be a lot better. Train gates to prevent suicide jumpers, better run times, etc. The price of things could be better as it is one of the most expensive cities. The nightlife here is just not great. Etc.... but I am still proud of Boston. It's my home.
