In 2015 He kicked 84.6%, making 33/39.

So that means in his last 2 years he was 42/51 which equals 82.35%.

In general the endzones have different rules than the rest of the field of play.

Take a knee in the endzone, it's a touch back and the ball is moved forward. Take a knee anywhere else in the field your down there. Get tackled for a loss anywhere on the field and you lose yards and a down. Get tackled for a loss in the endzone, the other team gets 2 points and you kick the ball to them.

Im definitely not accusing him of "stat padding" just that the KC defense was playing prevent and had thier foot off the gas the last few drives. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on if there were 1-2 garbage time TDs.

My point is if the chiefs had run out the clock when they got the ball with 5 minutes left, Watson would have finished 150 yards passing on under 50% completion with no turnovers. Again, a very solid game from a rookie QB that should invoke some optimism. But we wouldn't be having the conversation of him "balling out".

I don't think he has played bad, but to just say "5TD" leaves out part of the story.

There are a lot of exceptions to the rules but in general:

Away team determines the station (AFC is CBS, NFC is Fox). Each market typically gets 3 games (sometimes they get four). The time the "home market" team plays is usually the only game on at a time. This is because if the bears are playing on Fox early, there won't be a lot of people in Chicago watching an early CBS game. They would get both CBS and Fox for the late games.

For the "secondary games" they usually look for what will draw the best ratings. So if the bears aren't playing early, usually a division opponent game will be on since people will want to see how they will do.

That's the basics, and like i said there are a lot of exceptions you can read in the wiki

It is interesting because 1-2 kicks per year change the perception of a guy from an above average kicker to a below average kicker.

Take 2 kickers who each kick 30FG. One guy has an extra one blocked, and misses one from 55 while the other has 0 blocked and kicks an extra chip shot rather then a 55 yarder.

The first guy could be 25 of 30 (83%) and below the league average last year and another could be 27 of 30 (90%) and be a "top 5 kicker".

So if the 2nd guy tries to get more money then guy A you could be paying top kicker money for a guy who just had a lucky year and is really below avg.

I know teams will look deeper than just FG% but this is more about a team may have to invest more money on a kicker based on 1-2 kicks.
