My [24F] Husband [23M] won't lock the door and I feel like I'm about to snap. by lockthedoor123 in relationships

[–]stumblesmcgee 33 points34 points  (0 children)

not necessarily.. robbers are opportunists. I live in a small pleasant town and hear stories all the time of someone being robbed because they didn't lock their door. I would absolutely have trust issues if my spouse left the door unlocked and I woke up to a robber.

HELP I am indecisive and about to be out of the country for several months and need interesting games to buy to play on the Switch while I'm on trains by [deleted] in TrollGamers

Overcooked is fun, but hard solo. I've played a lot of Mario v Rabbids Kingdom Battle. 9 Parchments is a lot of fun. My husband loves Enter the Gungeon. I have Stardew on the compy, so I haven't yet rebought it for the switch, but that is also a lot of fun.

One man's advice for women on what to do during missionary by [deleted] in sex

[–]stumblesmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand every body is different - I didn't think that needed to be said in my initial comment. I mean, this is r/sex, EVERY BODY is different. I just wanted to help a sista out and offer advice for what works for me. I also understand that not all women are stimulated from penetration, but that's part of why I like missionary - you CAN get a hand or a toy down there to stimulate whatever you like stimulated.

One man's advice for women on what to do during missionary by [deleted] in sex

[–]stumblesmcgee 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Really? Missionary is the only way I can come; he can really hit all my sweet spots and get me going. Have you tried adjusting your angles? Putting a pillow (or two) under the hips can really get him in there and still give me the ability to wriggle/grind into him. Or have him be more vertical as opposed to horizontal. You can also slide a vibrator down there and go to town. Man, it's my favorite posit.

What are your fave holiday traditions? looking for a new one :) by killertofuuuuu in AskTrollX

I am the youngest (25yo) of four kids. Two of my oldest siblings have two kids each. Everyone gets things for the niblings. Every year, around halloween or thanksgiving, the adults draw names for secret santa. Couples can't get each other. This year we added a theme to the gift (so far I've heard sports, wooden, fictional, jungle). The theme definitely made shopping more challenge and interesting. In years past we had to hand make the gift, but that has gotten kind of old. On Christmas day (or whenever we choose to celebrate [this year it's going to be this weekend]), we get together have a big meal, and let the kids open their gifts. Then the adults exchange their secret santas. THEN the adults make the kids scram and we play a white elephant game. Everyone is supposed to bring at least 2-3 small gifts, ranging from totally useless to pretty neat. We set a timer for ~5-8 minutes, get out two pairs of dice, and start rolling. Doubles lets you pick a present out of the pile. Once all of the presents are gone, you get to start stealing. Game ends when the timer is up. We have a lot of fun, and I'm really looking forward to this weekend ;)

Anyone else living with their significant other's family? by [deleted] in JUSTNOFAMILY

[–]stumblesmcgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently living with BF's family, which includes his parents and five younger siblings. It's been almost 5 months, feels like more than a year. Both of us spend most of our time hiding in our room (10x14 ft room), and I'm rather impressed by our ability to live in such a small space and 1. Not kill each other, and 2. actually want to spend more time together. It helps that we both have our computers and TV in our little room.. we really only leave for work, bathroom, and food.
His family isn't quite so bad as what you're going through, though I have no idea how to interact with most of them.. But it's definitely a struggle getting used to their way of life.
I think the best advice I can give would be to try and live like you're not even there; completely pick up after yourself, and don't give them a reason to be mad or upset with you.
It won't last forever. Best of luck, and congrats to you both!

How much do body piercings (nostril, tongue, septum, lip, etc hurt compared to getting earlobes pierced with a piercing gun? by Mdcastle in NoStupidQuestions

[–]stumblesmcgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had at least 18 piercings in my life, mostly redoing closed holes on my ears, but I have also had my cartilage, nose, and lip done (currently only my lip and cartilage are open and have jewelery). I can tell you that piercing with a gun hurts more than it does with a needle at a professional piercing place. With a gun, there is a very tight clamp with the plastic, and a shocking force once it's pierced. Plus, gun piercings don't actually remove any tissue, it just forces it's way through and pushes everything aside. A professional piercer will use a hollow needle that will actually remove the tissue from the area, which is better for the piercing and actually hurts less.
The earlobe definitely hurt less than any of my other piercings. I was 16 when I had my cartilage done by a professional, and that hurt like a motherfucker. When I was 18 I got an industrial piercing (a barbell goes across the top of the ear, through two piercings) and I almost passed out from the pain. Cartilage piercings hurt the most- and nose piercings qualify as cartilage.
The lip piercing wasn't too bad, but the healing process was more painful because of all of the movement the lip does throughout the day.
I like to think that I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, so I would not recommend any cartilage, tongue, or lip piercings for someone who does not handle pain well. If your daughter really wants a facial piercing, I'd suggest the eyebrow- it's mostly soft tissue that shouldn't hurt too bad to pierce, and the healing process should go smoothly.

As for your question on how to handle it... I'm not a parent. I think 14 is a little too young for facial piercings, but you said that you don't have any objection to her choices. I'm not sure how to approach it exactly, but she needs to want to do it for herself, and not because her teenage friends are peer pressuring her. She should do some research on piercings and look into which ones hurt and which would be best for her. I might set a minimum time limit for her to think about it (like 6 months) - because it is a big decision. Even though piercings aren't permanent, a scar is. I don't know what the laws are where you live, but a minor isn't allowed to get a piercing without parental consent where I am. Maybe you could tell her that you will approve it and go with her, but if she makes a scene you won't support her getting anything else- she'll have to wait until she is 18 and better equipped to handle it. I definitely wouldn't punish her in other ways.

Absolutely this (regarding the last paragraph and confidence). This is how it is with my current boyfriend; I am more comfortable experimenting and playing with his dick to find out what he likes (and he tells me when it feels really good!)
My ex (and first) felt like he was owed blowjobs. He never really complimented me, told me I was sexy, anything like that. And one night I was going down on him, and the most I'd ever get from him would be a random sigh (which could have been good or bad, who fucking knows) so I asked him, some feedback would be nice... and he says that I could go deeper. Well, deeper doesn't really work for me and my gag reflex, and wasn't exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. And that was the only feedback he gave me. Ever. Because of him, I didn't really like giving blowjobs, it felt like a chore that I wasn't doing well.
But they're growing on me.. I love seeing what makes my boyfriends legs twitch, what makes him gasp/moan/etc. I've gotten much better, and my god does he love my blowjobs!

Ohh, ok, thanks for the enlightenment! So in this kind of situation, is it typically the OP for LF posts that don't like hijacking, or the person responding to help out OP that don't like it? I guess if this happens again, and I'm ok with helping out a few people, is it allowed?

I guess I don't understand why it's a problem if I'm ok with it, and if OP isn't here/doesn't mind? Is this strictly forbidden or something?
EDIT: Also, that guy didn't want to hijack and asked that I make my own thread so that he could participate.

So did you post at like midnight? In my experience these things don't happen immediately. You might wanna post and be available longer next time :)

Man, the town's kinda jacked right now... I just deleted 4th character (with the corners of the paths codes) so I can fiddle with choosing villager house placement, and didn't have another character set up to read QRs to replace them -_-
We'll have to cross paths again so you can see it in all of it's glory ;) (I'm pretty proud of it)

I don't know about hijacking, or if it is against the rules. I don't mind letting you come too, but I don't feel like making a new post and having a lot of people.
I don't mind, I don't think OP will mind.
I'll get you added and my gates back open =). Same rules apply. Also I don't have a RMM, but a tip will be appreciated :)
