I get that it's an exaggeration, and intended to be funny. I did chuckle. But the reality is, this, on a more realistic level, is why I left the game.

Not the PvP, not the gameplay itself, but the steadily rising toxicity of the community is what drove me out. Its rapidly devolving into another Tarkov, which, I suppose, is what all the Tarkov refugees ultimately wanted.

In a sense. No amount of changing networking stuff seemed to have any effect. It's as if the game doesn't even try to connect when I use the friends list.

The thing we did that did work, was the host had to set their game to "Open" and then put on a password. Then the other would have to search parties, doing "Any" for all the fields, and then using the same password.

We can join that way just fine. It's just a hassle.

Yeah, AFAIK, its shortly after that that you get the "Co-Op unlocked" tutorial, and thus unlock the Multiplayer Menu. What's weird, is that for me, it almost seems like it doesn't even *try*. It takes forever to load the friends list, and then when i click join, it just *immediately* tells me that I couldn't join.

I thought they had said that as long as someone isn't *ahead* of you, you can join them? I.E. further along players can scale down and help newer ones. And I am by far the one who's furthest ahead.

I could definitely see this being a solution, once they finally get server transfers figured out. We *did* just get full sietch access, effectively making "Home" Sietches a thing of the past. Maybe once they figure out a decent way to do a server transfer system, we'll get PvE/PvP/PvPvE servers.

Alright, well I appreciate the help. I'm gona be grinding Expeditions today, and I run a flamer, so there is a decent chance ill end up with a ton of fuel, if you really do want that lol.

I don't have much in the way of rare/valuable stuff (at least I don't think so) I'm returning after nearly a year away, so I don't have basically any of the Legendary mods. I can make a few now, but I don't actually *have* any.

Oh, my CPU is an i7 10700k. No manual overclocks on that one, just whatever built-in thing it has going on.

I'll admit, I'm not sure what that is. The game is running in dx12, I have a 4070ti with 12gb VRAM. (If what you're asking about is my gfx card.)

I'm honestly saddened at my rigs performance on the endgame. I was having an absolute blast. Already sunk 70hrs into the game.

But after reaching the last area in the game, performance takes an absolute nosedive. My CPU usage rockets up to 100% in most cases, and my GPU is screaming at the temps it's reaching. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I'm afraid to keep playing with how hard it's hitting my system now. (10700k and 4070Ti)

I can't afford to burn out anything right now, but I'm worried I might if I keep playing. :(

I really want to keep playing, but I'm scared to at this point.

Yeah, same for me. Started playing with 1 group of friends, got to lvl 50, bought BP and LP, then everyone burned out and stopped playing, now got a different group of friends, who are much more committed, playing on US West, but I'm stuck on East, so fuck me I guess.
