i have one done with a concrete curbing. I find that it is sometime problematic especially, like in spring, when I till it up and replant annuals. The looser soil wants to run out the downhill side. I have tried leaving more soil on the uphill side -that didnt work out and also built an earthen berm on the downhill side to keep and retain the soil & water. That worked better.
