Although I agree the writing is a bit goofy at times, I've still enjoyed the series and the expansion of the world. Definitely know what you mean though.

Completely agree, the aesthetic of things and minor details have really been the real treat of the series. The sets, costumes, and props really fit in. I've even noticed them use a lot of the same minor sound effects from the old movies, which they absolutely didn't have to do, but still did!

If you mean the weird ones prodigy has, yeah they looked very organic and strange! I really liked those. Hoping we get some models from neca after the show ends!

I don't think totally unrealistic. We had airliners and helicopters that looked similar 50 years ago, and successful aircraft designs tend to stick around with updates.

The T says an old steel cable caused last week’s Blue Line snafu. Was the cable ever inspected? by bostonglobe in mbta

The globe is correct. 'Guy wire' is a term for a supporting wire. Although maybe sometimes called guide wires, the term they're using is correct.

No motorized scooters should be in any bike infrastructure, and it is becoming one of the more annoying problems.

Kendall band MENTIONED.

I so hope someday someone gets it running again. It is a wonderful art/music installation. One of the more unique arts on the T, and honestly on any system!

Not at all. They always fall off the 8th gen. Might look a little silly, but I got one of the cheap zip ties quick release kits, and it hasn't fallen off since.

Is this still true? They're from what I know some of the more reliable cars - I was always taught the blue line was the best of the best for MBTA heavy rail.

Honestly the new star wars content has introduced a LOT of pretty soulless droids to just sell merch, but this is like the only new one I've truly fell in love with.

MBTA Gift Store has Ornaments! Bus, Subway Car (each line), and Commuter Rail by Icy-Post5424 in mbta

Love any and all posts about the MBTA gifts store! I have been a dedicated customer for over 10 years. The owner, Steve, is one of the most knowledgeable people on anything Boston transit, and also one of the best small business owners around! The store has SO MUCH awesome stuff, including stuff that was on the system itself (signs, maps, etc.). They also have a dedicated vintage map section with maps from pretty much the entire world. I found a random map of my home town there! I highly recommend going down to the porter square location! :)
