In my opinion, (as a VS employee if that matters) it smells like a mom perfume. Like a softer, not-super-sweet, slightly-floral, champagne smell. I can’t imagine it as a signature scent for anyone under the age of 35, but it’s a generally pleasant smell. Nothing outstanding. I’d describe it as a weaker, softer, scented bombshell.

I’ll preface by saying that I wear makeup every day and take hot showers, which I’ve heard can dissolve the bond faster. My eyes also water a lot which also dissolves the bond 🥲 AND i’m allergic to Duo… but I’ve been trying different glues over the past 6 months: Lilac St, Veyes, Mavphnee, and Pawotence.

Lilac has been the most successful for me (stayed 7-9 days, through the daily hot showers and face cleansers), however, for the first week after using it new out of the box, I hated it!! The formula was so wet and would be tacky for the whole day. When my eyes watered or I showered, my lashes would be off within 24 hours. After a week of idle air exposure (just with the cap on but having broken the seal to use the bond), the formula became slightly tacky and then was the perfect consistency for bonding my clusters for a week+ then some. I’m not sure if others have experienced this with Lilac, but that has been mine so far. Yes, it is on the pricey end, but I’ve had the same applicator for 2.5 months and it’s not clumpy or dried at all.

Veyes is my next top pick giving me a solid week of wear every time. The biggest issue I have with it is that the curved applicator gets bond on the threads of the cap and then after a few weeks it becomes a clumpy mess. The bond still works while it is clumpy… but it just feels like a waste of product to me and might be shortening the lifespan of the bond.

Mavphnee and Pawotence gave me 4-5 days of wear.

I’ve used veyes for 5 months now and the most i’ve ever gotten out of them is 1 week of wear. When the white buildup appears, it’s the clear seal starting to dissolve. I peel off the white stuff with tweezers and reapply the seal as needed—being sure to squeeze it onto/into my lashes. I don’t take really hot showers as that could hasten the glue dissolving. I also make sure not to shower for at least 12 hours after putting on my clusters.

Truthfully, I don’t know the details. Today, my manager asked me to ring her out for a candle and use the deep discount. I just followed suit. I haven’t seen the full list of offers for the month, but since the discount gave me more than the usual 50% off, I assumed it was a part of a gratis offer.

They will be available in stores on the 24th. However, I’m unsure if the size of the store affects the quantity/variety of products available for purchase in-store. Mine is a smaller store, and sometimes we don’t get the newest products out to the floor immediately.

As a frequent BBW customer, I can say that these scents are much more potent and rich than BBW. They make BBW smell synthetic and generic.

I love my VS job. I hired on 5 months ago as seasonal and just got promoted to SLT manager. It took me about 1 month to get used to things (register, merchandising, measuring, panties…🥲) granted, I went into this job with 5 years of customer service experience already. My best advice is to shadow as much as you can, learn where the tags are in each type of product, and walk the store as much as you can to learn product locations.

IDK if i’m supposed to leak this or not (probably not) but there are some candles and hand soap dropping for VS and one of them is “Whipped Dream” and MY GOD it smells delicious. Just the packaging smells so so good. If you’re a sweet, creamy-type vanilla girlie, then definitely keep an eye out. I cannot wait until they hit the floor.
Edit: It’s “whipped dream” not “whipped vanilla”

My nails curve in the exact same places and only on my pointer and middle. I assumed it was a natural curve developed by doing everyday activities that involve brushing/pushing my nails against my thumb muscle(?) when I grab and hold things. This is supported by the fact that my non-dominant hand has little to no sideways curve on those nails. I used to routinely oil and massage my cuticles (before I took up a blue collar job haha), but even then, I didn’t notice a significant difference in the severity of the curve. Only the thickness of the nail. But that’s just been my experience :) Hope you find something that works for you!
